Nice place, simple and sweet,Francesca the owner is very pleasant. Rithy, the manager is very helpful. Many restaurants around, marts, Big Easy sports bar around the corner. Ferry to Koh Rong 50 meters away. The beach is falling apart right now, but Ogres beach is only 4$ away by tuktuk.

Arrived at the hotel, unfriendly staff! We arrived at 7 in the morning, we had to wait until 1pm for our room. Then comes another staff to say that we could get another room at the price of 2 dollars extra otherwise we had to wait until 13h.So we packed that room until we got to the room.Full mosquitoes, dirty floor. Slept very badly. We then rented a scooter. Asked the staff, who could not speak English or said no idea where. While opposite was just a scooter landlord. So to all tourists do not rent this hotel !!! It is not Sochi Garden but Mosqieto Garden.

My dear, maybe you never traveled before, because you should know that there are check-in time and check-out time. Our check out is at 12am and our check in, if we do not have free room is at 1pm, moreover you booked true booking. com then you should have read the policies before booking, it is clearly written that check-in is from 1am to 9pm, in case of special needs you can send an information in advance. To meet you and, given your aggressive attitude, we have proposed another room that was already 'free and clean, but it' a different and more expensive room. You accepted. Now I think it's rather childish to take it out on my floors to add fire to your whims. Among other things they are clean, we are one of the few Guest Houses that we use the vacuum cleaner, and not the straw broom. We may be horrible, but I would suggest that you take an examination of conscience, and maybe stop traveling as long as you have not learned the rules and figured out which country you are going to. Thanks very much

This place was just disappointing if I am honest, not the worst place I’ve ever stayed but certainly not the best. Had rats in our room (!!!) powercuts both nights so were using a torch most of the time, and we had paid for an air con room which we couldn’t even use so I expected them to offer us some money back yet they didn’t. I understand they can’t control the power cut but they need to invest in a better generator or offer people some compensation because we didn’t have a great nights sleep. Also, on the last day we had a rat in our room!!!!! Disgusting! Breakfast was extremely overpriced, don’t eat breakfast here we got more food that tasted better at big easy up the street. Also our bed was so loud and creaky whenever you moved on it which was difficult to sleep on. Despite all this, the gardens around the rooms are amazing! I love that there are loads of tables and chairs around. Just disappointing in general really and the man at reception is really not friendly, only time he wanted to speak to us was when he wanted us to pay.

We stayed 1 night before heading over to Koh Rong. It was very basic accomodation, like a backpackers/hostel, although obviously you’re own room and bathroom. We paid $30 for the night, so good price I suppose. Very hard beds and TERRIBLE pillows (lucky we were only staying 1 night!). We described them as possibly being old sacks with scrunched up rags inside :/ Only sheets provided as a cover. All in one small toilet-shower. Cold shower, no hot water. A/C was good though. No safe. Quiet at night time. Great location and only a minutes walk to the pier to catch the ferry. Great breaky across the road at Mohanas (we didn’t try to food at Chochi so I can’t comment). Small Casino a couple of doors down which was fun for something different to try at night time.

I got to go back to Chochi Gardens in February and had a smile on my face before I even got there. Francesca and Taka were so welcoming. What a lovely place to simply relax. It's so central with lots to do right there. But mostly I simply love how welcoming the place is.The added bonus is the garden!

So I had a night to spend in Sihanoukville before taking off to Koh Rong Samloem, a friend of mine recommended that I stay at Chochi Garden. So glad that I took his advice. A quiet and beautiful place right near the busy pier of Sihanoukville. With loads of greenery in the guesthouse, clean rooms, hot water, air conditioning, great breakfast, great collection of wine and cocktails and the warmth and love of Francescca and Taka.. the staff is warm and caring always making sure that you are comfortable. Francescca and Taka have built this place with a lot of love and its visible in the way it’s been designed. So happy to have met these two on my journey. Recommend this place.. it’s budget friendly.. and above all great vibes. Evenings are fun as the bar gets swinging. Loved my stay here. Will be back for more pit stops. Be care of the tuktuk rates.. from Virath buthan bus service stop till Chochi Gardens is about a dollar.. the tuktuk guys took 3$ from me.

My partner and I lived in Cambodia for several months this year, and we were based on Koh Rong Samloem. However, every few weeks we needed to stay on the mainland in Sihanoukville. We stayed at most of the guesthouses in the Serendipity Beach area, before discovering Chochi Garden. We never stayed anywhere else after this. The rooms are reasonably priced (not the cheapest you'll find in the area, but WELL worth the $5-$10 difference) The couple who run the place are such good people; down to earth, genuine, they've put a lot of care into the place. Not to mention the staff (Reh-tea? I don't know how to spell his name, but he's so great). Anchor beer on draft was our personal go-to, though they have a full cocktail menu and food menu as well. Just entering the property feels like a welcome escape from the craziness of Sihanoukville. I don't know how they manage to keep their cool in a town like this, but I'm grateful that they do. Even before we started staying there, I would go in to Chochi Garden's bar area to have an afternoon tea when I wanted to relax.

We recently spent just one night here before taking a flight. The location was great for us as we had just come off the ferry from Koh Rong. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops close by too. Our room was fine apart from a few ants, but not the end of the world as we weren’t there long. Good WiFi and free bottled water on arrival. No problem with noise considering you are in a busy area. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Organised our taxi to airport.

We stayed for one night on the way out to the islands. It is a very convenient location for serendipity beach pier and the ferries (just a short walk down the hill). We had a quiet room and good service. We would stay there again.
