I made a booking at Malibu Bungalows in January 2015. When we arrived, we were advised that there had been a mix-up, and they couldn't honour our booking. They claim to have emailed us an hour earlier (not that this would have helped us!), but I hadn't received anything. They had contacted an alternate accommodation and advised us to go...

We stayed here over December for 3 days. My first thoughts as I approached the bungalows were they looked quite charming and rustic. On closer inspection they actually look quite squalid and no work to them has been done in a good couple of years it seems. The rooms were cleaned to a very basic standard with dead insects still...

We spent just one night here on our way to Koh Rong Samloem, but would've been happy to stay for a few days more. The location is quite secluded giving it peace, privacy and quiet. They have their own small beach or it's a few minutes walk to the public end of the beautiful Sokha beach. It was a bit...

I stayed over Christmas 2013 and enjoyed my time. I was a solo female traveller, but felt totally safe while at the bungalows. My room had a great sea view with balcony, which was lovely to sit on as the sun went down. The room is in the rustic style (bamboo roof) so expect rustling and the odd gecko in...

Dear BL, Thank you for your review on TA. It was a great pleasure to welcome you and your friends. We will share with the team your good feelings about the service. We regrets the road issue was so difficult for you. We actually are waiting the government authorization requested since 2 years. Unfortunately we can not do what we...

lovely small bungalows in a tropical park, with an amazing private Beach. The taff was perfectly friendly and the owners very kind. If I had to go back in Sihanoukville, it will be my new favourite place.

Stayed here in early September 2014, unfortunately during the rain season. It has a unique location as it retains a private beach while being pretty close to Ocheuteal peer. We arrived at night, tried to get there from the peer on foot through the small beach-side road showed on the map. It was not a good decision as the road...

Room: in front of the beach haha Location: begin of sokha beach, 15 mins walk from the Pier. But 1 important thing is the way to Malibu. We find it so hard to go there by tuk tuk or taxi and scared in the evening. Maybe you can see the dogs run out and head to you. Beach is peaceful,...

I enjoyed my stay at Malibu bungalows for almost 3 weeks in the end of March. I read a few bad reviews about this place and I honestly don't know what people are going on about. The front beach is full of stones, and so what? Walk 10 meters down right and you'll find a long, perfect, clean beach with...

I can't believe the lengths that the staff here will go to in order to help their guests. Foolishly, I left my day bag (with wallet) hanging on the back of a chair in a restaurant downtown. Drinking with new friends can cause this. ;-) Anyway, I'm about to go to sleep and .... oh F#%€, I don't have my...

“We stayed in the beach bungalow. They seemed to shift everyone around a lot.....The higher rooms seem to be disturbed by the noise from the Cloud 9 night club that went all night.”

“There are plenty of rooms around Malibu Hotel, maybe at a price of 25-30$/night, a little bit more expensive, although the whole beach area is noisy, with a lot of dancing clubs. Maybe the hotels on the main street are quieter. I would suggest Otres Beach for vacation and relax, although it is 8km far from the centre (Sihanoukville, which is for youth and fun) and the tuk tuk costs 5$ one way. Anyhow, the bungaloes/hotels/beaches at Otres Beach are much better, but there is nothing else to do there, except for swimming.”
