Julian is a small old gold mining town and to get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily life, we took a nice drive and stayed at the Julian Lodge. The lodge is older but has been remodeled in the rooms. Our room was a queen, had a small desk, a flat screen tv, a dresser and a...

Rooms are funky and quiet. No views. We rented the King Suite. Big enough to play football. But handicap bathroom has nowhere to put soap or shampoo. Ridiculous!!! And the breakfast was pure supermarket level which is nuts in a 1 block town w 5 bakeries. And no eggs. Really a lousy high carb meal.

Hello Bob, Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback on your stay. You were in our King Suite, which is very large and offers a ADA accessible shower, I will look into putting in a shower caddy for the future. I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with our breakfast. We do make every effort to offer...

The owners did a great job of making this lodge seem very private and quiet, yet when you want to mingle or enjoy a beverage in the living room area it's so warm and inviting. Our room was decorated beautifully but the breakfast is what prompted me to write the review. The antiques in the breakfast room were charming, they...

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. There was no view, but that was ok, we were only there to sleep. We were glad the room had A/C, a lot of places here don't including the location of the wedding. The down side was the refrigerator and the Breakfast. The freezer was two inches thick in frost. I'm guessing this...

This place was not too bad and I would probably give it 4 stars but every night we were there something important was not stocked by the maid. First night no toilet paper (except about 1/2 inch on the roll) and only one coffee cup, next night no coffee and it was too late to get it since the front...

This hotel is centrally located right in the middle of town. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants without getting in the car. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with reasonably priced accommodations. Rooms are spacious. You will have to walk up a flight of stairs as most rooms are on the second floor. The air conditioner worked...

My wife and I stayed here during a family reunion event. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The rooms are smallish, but adequate. Our family members were staying at other places in town, and while they were nice, they weren't nearly as nice as the Julian Lodge. Our room was nicely appointed with an antique dresser and side...

Julian is a nice little town with more than apple pie to offer... We had a lovely stay in Julian Lodge when we visited Julian for a friend's wedding. We had our 8 year old daughter with us and she commented that it is a very clean hotel with comfortable beds!

Lovely hotel. I just loved the tasteful antique furnishings. It felt like staying at Grandmas. We had one of the best rooms with 2 widows that overlooked the countryside. Spacious room, with a fridge, cozy reading chair, and nice vintage bathroom. Not over decorated. The morning breakfast had a very friendly and efficient host who kept the food replenished and...
