Every other year we travel to the Morongo Valley for the artists open studio tour. We have stayed at a number of locations in the area but once we discovered Spin and Margie’s Desert Hideaway we always go back. The property is well maintained and clean. It is also well stocked with utensils I the kitchen and little touches abound...

What a find! Thanks to tripadvisor we stayed here, and it is beautiful. We stayed in Western nomad no4 cabin and it was gorgeous. So much character and the terrace was great for coffee in the morning. What a special place! The cabin has everything you need and there are so many amenities nearby you can either eat out or...

I love staying at Spin and Margie's on my annual fall trip to Joshua Tree. Whenever I bring a first timer to this cute little hideaway, the reaction is always the same: big smiles followed by: "how did you FIND this place??!" Adorable retro decor, fun setting, clean and comfy rooms and great proximity to Joshua Tree NP and town....

When you drive into Spin & Margie's, you are welcomed with vintage Route 66 signage, old license plates, barrels and cactus, and a "WELCOME" sign that makes you feel like you are! Try and arrive during the day so you can really enjoy the ambience in those first few moments. Plus, you might miss the turnoff in the desert darkness....

Spin and Margie's was beautiful. It is decorated with such care, and it is clean, pretty, and a fun place to spend a few days. I came for a week and stayed in the cabin, and ended up staying an extra night because it was so relaxing. The hosts are kind people who care a lot about your comfort. I...

Stayed in room 3, which was brilliant. There was plenty of space in the room, which included a kitchen. There was also a private terrace to sit on during the day when it was too busy to explore the national park. Due to the elevation above sea level it can get windy, which can create some noise. The gardens are...

We stayed in Suite #1. The Suite was spacious, comfortable and clean, with some very cute and unique decor. I am very happy we stayed here rather than any of the motels in town. The unit had a full kitchen and was fully stocked with kitchenware. There is some noise from the cars passing on the highway, but I imagine...

This was our first trip to Joshua Tree and Spin and Margie's. The guest cabin we stayed in was lovely - great decor, everything you could need including a map of the area, places to visit, wifi...even a torch! We had a fantastic stay, and our host was so kind and accommodating. Not only did she phone the fabulous Pappy...

This was our second visit to Spin and Margie's. We stayed in the Desert Rambler, one of three suites that has a private courtyard. This time, we brought our food, wine, and cocktail supplies with us and enjoyed the quiet, secluded retreat we were looking for. We'll be back again for a longer stay.

This place is awesome. There are 5 guest cabins you can stay in, each decorated in a sort of Santa Fe chic. Outside, the landscaping is more Far West. There is a little communal courtyard where you can bbq or make a campfire. You're between the East and West Entrances of Joshua Tree but not far from restaurants and stores...
