Casa De Frank Positives- allows dogs, central location, TV with Roku so lots of things to watch. Cons- did not see covid safe. Two people were in the house cleaning and taking care of some things with no masks on. Other guests did not wear any masks at all. House did not smell fresh nor did bedding which had some hair on it. I think during covid times people really need to be on their A game with cleaning. It was pretty clean aside from not smelling fresh and dusty blinds. Closet had some weird things in it like old dirty looking blankets, set of steak knives. Bathroom was super cold. On booking.com it was not totally clear that it was a shared house seems ambiguous. All pictures and verbiage made it seem like family room with kitchen was private which it wasn’t. That’s ok but the other guests were sketchy and bothersome, a few cards short of a full deck. I picked this property because it has a hot tub but based on the property and other guests it did not seem like something I would want to be in at all. Not a nice outdoor area. Overall do not pay over $80 and night. I paid double and it was way overpriced. I’m really confused at all the great reviews but I would not go back. Just did not feel comfortable at all.

We stayed here so we could visit Joshua Tree National Park and we made a great choice. The house is very clean, stylish and comfortable. There are a few options of rooms where you can pick to have an en suite or not. We chose to have the en suite and the room was really nice. There is a kitchen which you can use for meal prep etc... however we visited the saloon, which was a 2 minute walk from the house. Parking is available right outside the house and so will not cause any issues. Overall, a great choice for people visiting the area and want value for money.

This is a really clean house that is shared with other travelers, there is a room with it’s own bathroom and 2 rooms sharing a bathroom, all share a kitchen. The house is spacious and really well set up to share. Easy to use kitchen, big tvs in all the roms and one is the ‘living room’. It is cleaned daily. The fun is meeting all the other travelers ( and Frank) who are fun to hang out with. All age groups. We had a dog that everyone was polite to ( and he was mostly polite too). Frank also has a tiny house on the property and a duplex one lot away on the same street. Of course JT is wonderful ( everyone knows that) and this place is perfectly situated to partake of JT in every aspect, coffee, saloon, eateries, park, everything.
