My husband and I recently stayed at Ten Inverness Way. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Jenna and Kai, the wonderful innkeepers. The main living room is cozy with a nice fireplace, sofas, and table and chairs set up for eating the wonderful home made cookies or cheese and crackers. This is also where breakfast is served. We...

I have been coming to inverness for years and finally had a chance to stay at 10 Inverness as it was always booked . When you arrive you are greeted by a beautiful classic Inverness home that is surrounded by flowers , with cozy touches couch and comfortable chairs around a beautiful fireplace,a library full of books about point reyes,...

“Refreshment to my spirit” is the phrase I would use to describe my recent stay at Ten Inverness Way. I felt the weight of my world back home lift the moment I arrived for a rare girl’s weekend away. The atmosphere of the house invited me to relax with a book in the cozy, cushioned window nook, or chat with...

A year ago I posted a rave review for Ten Inverness Way. Although I've been to tons of B&Bs, it was the first review I posted for Trip Advisor because I liked it so much. I just came back for a third visit and virtually everything was different. At first it was confusing as to why, but then we found...

Dear Barbara, First: my regrets for your sub-par stay with us. Especially for the smoke alarm low on battery, I know that's annoying. We take your criticism seriously and will exchange the batteries of all smoke alarms preemptively. Regarding the other items on your list, I can only say that we do our best to cater to the different tastes...

My wife and I came directly from a transpacific flight and wanted to rest and readjust for a couple of days. The innkeepers, Kai and Jenna, could not have been more helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Surrounded by an almost unearthly beauty, the inn is perfectly positioned to explore the lesser used northern portion of Pt. Reyes but it is also...

The great room and the library are very inviting. However, the B&B did not live up to the Reviews on Trip Advisor. A major concern is one of safety. The approach to the inn is an uneven stepped garden path which does have lights. However, at least three of these lamps were not functioning. In addition, we were greatly surprised...

Dear Kay, I apologize for your less-than-wonderful stay. I was not aware of any lamps being out, and I'll check it out right this evening. Concerning daily housekeeping, you are indeed correct about our guidelines. But I do apologize for not having met your expectations. In fact, we routinely make up rooms or provide fresh towels for guests who prefer...

Though this property came highly recommended on Trip Advisor, it turned out to be extremely disappointing. The hosts were not at all friendly; the breakfast was very mediocre and to top it off, the rooms were not cleaned. After inquiring at 4PM when the room would be made up, I was told that they don't enter guest rooms. I find...

Dear Rose, I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay. It is true that, during your stay, housekeeping is performed exclusively upon your request. This is the option preferred by most guests. But it is our mistake that we failed to make you aware of this practice properly and not to have better articulated the fact that it is also...

This is a wonderful little B&B at the gate to Pt. Reyes. The inn keepers make you feel as if you are at a home away form home with old friends. In fact, they invited us to dine and drink with them and their friend for dinner. You will be so happy to have spent a night or two at...

Truly amazing food! Arrived after 3 to find delicious cheese, homemade bread and cookies, besides red and white wine in the main room. All very special! The great room is lively to relax in at night and is also lovely to have breakfast in the morning. Couple of tables for two and a large table for more. Exquisite homemade granola...

We loved the feel of the place! Walked in to wine and cheese being served with real vinyl records playing in the background. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Point Reyes is the perfect backdrop and draw.
