Let's start with the airport pickup that took almost 2 hrs of waiting time in the cold at the LAX red signage hotel bus stop, and 3 phone calls. If they had ever swung by once as claimed, they sure did not stop to ask who are waiting for pickup. Likewise checkin was not immed at 12mn-ish even tho there...

We have probably stayed 3_4 times here and have always enjoyed it. Just love the free shuttle from the airport! Although the place is dated, there are so many positives! We arrived very early in the morning from Australia- so tired- but we were able to access our 2 bed- room just after 9 am. We were able to have...

Nice hostel in LA. Had adequate facilities. The room we had was comfortable and clean. The pool was good as were the ladies at the bar. They really made our stay a great one. The neighbourhood was a little scary but the free shuttles are worth taking to get around. The restaurant was not great but OK. It was cheap...

The environment is good for social activities coz there is always influx of young (backpackers) within the vicinity of the hotel due to the presence of Hostels. Above all, the hotel has various freebies, ranging from free Tea and Muffins (complimentary breakfast), free cake, 24hrs coffe/tea, bogof wine at the bar, Wi-Fi etc. However, more training on Customer Relation should...

We were booked for a 15 day stay and we had an early checkout due to terrible experiences: First, room walls were all wet because someone in the room upstairs were taking a bath. Second, drunk guests burnt a full waste basket down our room. (rooms are made of wood.) and the worst was one night rained all night and...

They give me the "suite" but it was like the worst room ever. The room was stinky, all the carpet was wet. There was remains of weed everywhere in the room. The sheets of the bed were clearly not clean and were smelling mold. I had the ventilation noise in the window, couldn't sleep that night. Worst hotel ever and...

It's named Tradewinds "Hotel" on the website, but it is actually a very dirty hostel/weekly rate motel, and we were given a false description over the phone of what was actually included. We booked a room for one night and were told it was only three minutes from LAX, that there would be two bedrooms, that a crib could be...

I had just returned to the US from backpacking around Europe and wanted a place to stay for a couple of nights. I booked a solo room in this venue promoted as a hostel, since this usually provided the best of both worlds. I arrived at the facility and checked in. When I reached my room, my first sense was...

Be prepared to wait over an hour for the free airport shuttle pickup, the van is white and clearly marked Tradewinds motel. I have stayed here off and on over the years and have always been happy with my stay, the rooms are spacious, clean enough, with a comfortable bed, hot shower, TV, heat/aircon, and mini bar which you have...
