It was just simply awful .. maybe whst you might find in garden City, Kansas, but California? Crap, furniture there since the 1950's, pathetic portable heater, awful single beds, dirty... the name should have been "Slumming it for a day motel".
We just stayed over night after a day at Hollister Hills. Clean and tidy ,easy check in . Close to restaurant,s and amenities . Good if your touring around area. Just a good average motel at an average price.
We chose the Hollister Inn as an alternative to staying in the Monterrey area, as everything there seemed overpriced for what it offered. Hollister also gave us the chance to stay in a proper old style Motel, in a real town, rather than a lot...More
At first sight, the place was the typical motel. But the staff tried to make us feel comfortable and the rooms were really clean. The brekfast is correct. Maybe not as big as we expected, but it was worth!
