My partner had been to visit over a decade ago when his relatives ran this resort, and was only accessible by boat. We came to check out the beach and resort, He was pleasantly surprised at all the changes made in this time! The staff in the restaurant are friendly and let us dine in even though it was almost...

We went there for some brunch. For start we didn't look and didn't notice the kitchen does not open to 12. The food was good, the staff are friendly, drinks list is large and it is a little over priced but not to bad. Having a quick swim between beers was perfect.

Spent two nights at Montes but wished it could have been 2 weeks. The view from the units is incredible, beautiful turquoise water right at your front door. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was great, cocktails and oysters right on the ocean the...

Montes is in such an amazing location. A group of us went here for dinner on a Friday night (it was booked out on the Saturday for a function) and the food and location was great. My partner and I shared a seafood platter and it was one of the best seafood platters i've had, fresh, a good variety, and...

Feels like your on a Whitsunday island without leaving the main land. Amazing beach setting, cafe & beach bar with everything from meals, cocktails to coffee & cake. You do have a small gravel section to travel in but easily accessible by car too. We will definitely be back...

We were recommended this place by a local tour operator in Airlee Beach by chance. We popped in to see about a sunset cruise however the helpful lady told us about this place and as we had a car we would be able to go and find it. She also called and booked our table for us at sunset. The...

Iv you've ever wondered what heaven looks like, just visit montes! Very secluded and intimate, montes is the perfect place to visit when you want to leave the hustle and bustle behind. The beer is icy cold and the food is excellent. The seafood platter is a must

“all of the units have fantastic views”

“We like No. 8 as its close to the bar and restaurant. But some may think its too close to the action and prefer the units further down the beach on the western end. Some of those are older units. Its just a personal choice. Which ever unit you choose, there are uninterupted views right there on your doorstep.”

“Cabin 8 is next to the restaurant and is the only cabin on that side. So if you are out there and want to get away from everyone.”

“Make sure you ask for Chalet 1 - 3. Chalet 3 has a 'bonfire' outside that you can light yourself. Also - ensure you take enough bait as they do not sell it there.”
