This amazing destination offers rustic, open air accommodations in the secluded jungle of the bocas del toro mainland. Visitors must hike in on foot approximately 15 minutes through the jungle to reach the property. This is Panamas ONLY All inclusive hike in jungle lodge. All nightly rates are per person per night and include all meals, snacks & beverages including beer, wine and cocktails. Beautiful natural pools with waterfalls for swimming on site and Caribbean views from the lounge and dining area combined with excellent year round temperatures consistently between 70s & 80s. Great for birding, exploring hours of our private hiking trails or on site horseback riding. We are completely off grid powering our entire property from our private hydro turbine via our mountain stream. Adventure seekers look no further. EAT~ DRINK ~ XPLORE ~ REPEAT

Awesome Place to stay if you are in Panama! Jonathan and Tasha created a perfect hideaway, where you dont miss anything. Its a perfect, stylish place to stay and relax and both hosts make it even even better. Bungalows, and the whole area are embedded in the nature without disturbing it. So it gives you the jungle experience without dispensing the amenities you need for a relaxed and calm stay and you do want to have in your holidays. Remember it is a hike in lodge where you have to hike in for approximately 15min. But this is neccessary to give you the jungle experience and silence you want. I highly recommend to stay there for at least 3 nights and thanks to Jonathan and Tasha. Was defininetly the highlight of my panama-Trip and i hope to come back soon!!!

What a fantastic, wonderful experience in a jungle setting. From the accommodations, to the food, to the beautiful setting in the remote jungle, I can't say enough about my adventure. I danced, and sang to the rain God's and they listened, and brought us perfect sunny weather. The highlight of my stay, however was riding with Thomas our wonderful, stable, well cared for horses. We spent 3 hours, and it wasn't long enough:) A person that wants to ride, but never has, should absolutely take this opportunity. These horses are very sure footed, and you will have no problems.

Staying at Rambala Jungle Lodge was truly an amazing and unique experience.
We had the Tucan Bungalow which overlooks the waterfall. The view is wonderful! We also slept very well while listening to the water and the sounds of nature. All the buildings look so beautiful, you can tell a lot of heart went into them.
Jonathan & Natasha are the best hosts you could ask for. We felt very welcome. The home cooked meals were very delicious - the drinks are also very good.
For the road you are definitely better off with a 4x4, but we still managed.
We can only recommend this place, it is an excellent experience!

We had a very good time in this very clean and attention to detail facility.
It offers you many comforts even though you are actually in the middle of the rainforest.
The rooms have no walls and you sleep surrounded by nature but are very comfortable.
The owners are simply fantastic because they are very helpful and never intrusive.

Just returned from a wonderful 3 day stay. Jonathan and Tasha have created an amazing getaway and have gone to great lengths to make a stay at Rambala Lodge a memorable one. The lodges are comfortable, well-appointed, well-stocked and very clean. Delicious, beautifully presented food, and fun, refreshing cocktails await at the main lodge. Hiking trails through the amazing rain forest, or floating on tubes along the Rambala River waterfalls are just some of the activities we took advantage of during our stay. Oh...and sloths! Highly recommend!

We just spent 7 days at the Rambala Jungle Lodge. We had a spectacular time hiking, swimming, horseback riding, critter searching and exploring. We had never been to Panama. I personally know the owners of this lodge so I did have a little advantage of what to expect once I got there. Because of covid19 and mudslides our trip was moved out exactly 1 year. Although I hated to wait that extra year I believe it was worth it. Once I got to the entrance of lodges hike in trail I was immediately amazed. The photos that have been put online can not compare to the sheer beauty of this place. The hike up the first pasture is steep, at the top of that is the entrance to the jungle part of the hike which is steep too but so beautiful. Up the mountain thru the jungle, vibrant plant life, wild animal noises and the roar of the nearby river and waterfalls is absolutely amazing. Then to reach the lodging area.. you immediately feel satisfied, and realize it was totally worth the work to get there. The Rancho, the cabins, the Polopa and the main lodge all nestled on the side of this mountain away from EVERYTHING. The cabins are all private open air cabins with running water, full bathrooms (including hot water showers) and power. These cabins are breath taking. The views from each cabin are magnificent. The view from the main lodge is sure to impress everyone no matter what wildlife you may be looking for. Toucans, sloths, snakes, insects, monkeys and so much more. There are 2 water falls which are easily accessed where floating and swimming is appropriate. These trails are clean, well maintained and easily recognized. The owners have done so much work here to give everyone an experience of a lifetime. They are familiar with the pattern of the wildlife. They can tell you approximately when the toucans will be flying by or how long that sloth is going to be in a certain tree or where the frogs hide out the most. They are educated on the critters and the area. They are truly amazing people. They include 3 meals a day with your stay and I was never disappointed and trust me I am not someone who eats anything. They verify with you when you book if there is anything you can not or do not eat. They really strive to make your experience AWESOME. I can not wait to go again. They shared with me a few future projects and I am excited to see these projects completed. Words really can not describe the beauty of this lodge, the hard work that has been put into this lodge or the experience you can get from visiting this lodge. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to take a break from the craziness this world has been thru this last year. Wonderful place to get away from it all for a few days.

Our hosts Natasha and Jonathan made our stay the best travel experience on our trip.
The little lodge is located right in the jungle, but offers a standard we could not find anywhere else.
The lodge is very stylish, matches with the jungle experience and the home-made food and cleanliness is unbeatable.
We also fully enjoyed the company of sloths around the lodge, the 2 waterfalls and nature in general.
A place we already missed short after leaving!

My friends and I had a great time at this luxurious, rustic, all-inclusive lodge. Johnathan, Tasha and Tomas made us feel welcome immediately. The accommodations were top notch as were the food and craft cocktails. The lodge features well marked and lighted hiking trails, two waterfalls with swimming holes,a billiard table, hammocks, darts, tons of books, sloths, birds and lush landscaping. The entire facility is off grid yet the cabins feature refrigerators stocked with beer, soft drinks, water and snacks. We will definitely return!
