You get a view of the golf course only at this hotel. We were disappointed at first, thinking it was on the bay. However, once you get here, the nice rooms, full TV service with HBO, fast internet, breakfast with waffles, and beautiful pool and spa areas fully make up for it. Overall, a very nice 2 night stay for...

Stayed here for a Saturday night overnight stay. If you are expecting a luxury experience then you better book the Ritz because this is not it. It is a fairly basic hotel, although the rooms have been recently remodeled. It is pretty expensive for what it is, but with the Ritz right next door they can charge this rate which...

I stayed in this hotel with my family over spring break. From here we were able to go up and down the coast easily, see the sights of San Francisco and appreciate the majestic John Muir Woods.the hotel is a little dated but clean. Breakfast is wonderful and the pool is excellent. We had a great stay.

I am flabbergasted by all the positive reviews, I can't imagine that for the price this hotel lists at, it is seen as worth it. My experience there may be unique but it is hard to comprehend that. First things first, I very seriously consider a hotel based on cleanliness, and that it had. I can sleep just about anywhere...

This hotel is a huge let down. I was traveling for business and the first disappointment I found was the only venting in the bathroom was a window in the shower that opened into the main hallway so everyone could hear you in the bathroom. The second huge disappointment was there is no air conditioning so the answer the front...

Nice place to stay on a chilly, windy day. There's a restaurant nearby but I don't recommend it. Probably won't go back to Half Moon but the Lodge was very attractive and comfortable. lots of folks enjoying the pool and spa. No problems with service. My husband enjoyed the breakfast.

This lodge has been recent riddled and is clean and fresh and lovely. Decor has a coastal California feel. Landscaping is nicely tended. Outdoor fireside lounge area next to a Pretty pool area. More variety in the morning breakfast than usual. Would stay here again, although a little farther from center of town.

I had a comfortable stay here during my first visit to Half Moon Bay; the staff was friendly, the grounds are well-maintained, and this was a welcome change from my usual habit of staying in chain hotels. You'll notice that it isn't a brand new property, but it oozes charm and most leisure travelers will delight in the decor and...

I chose this hotel because of the good ratings I read on Tripadvisor. I must be in the Twilight Zone because my experience was extremely negative and I feel as though a bait and switch was done and I was not at the right hotel. Let me start by saying that I wanted a pet friendly hotel where I could...

Like many small, quaint hotels in the Bay Area, this one is probably a good value, it's just unspectacular. It's right next to apartments or condos, and is bordered by a public(?) golf course. Granted my review might reflect my bitterness about the rest of my group getting to stay at the Ritz, but my first room reeked of fireplace...
