Under $100.00 for a clean quaint room. Rooms are small and older. Fireplace is heat source and either on or off. Breakfast is pretty good; scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal and juice. Spectacular viewing deck. Chairs and a fire pit are also available. Good option for this area of higher priced offerings.

Great view by the cliff. There are 2 rooms that have the ocean view. There is cost for the view. We were more on the road side. Except for those 2 rooms with a view, the rest have no ocean view, but you can always walk may be 50 steps on their property. They have a barbeque grill you can...

We took the upper level room which is identical to the bottom rooms but has a little better view of the ocean. This motel even supplied binoculars for viewing sea life and birds. The room has a fireplace and is quite well appointed. We would definitely recommend staying here and will do so again if ever in the area.

We found this place on a competing site (sorry Trip Advisor) but had trouble booking. There seemed to be confusion about availability. We ended up booking with the site directly. The room had a queen bed, which had seen better days. But the main problem is that there wasn't much room to move in the room. Very small. There were...

I stayed here for a few nights after my Mom had passed so I could say goodbye to the town she had lived in for over 20 years. I picked a room facing the Beach so I could have the windows open at night and hear the powerful Ocean. The young couple that was managing the place where so sweet...

Small, not cookie cutter rooms. Ours was just re-done, tasteful new bathroom, good queen size bed and the room had faux fireplace heater - cute. A short walking path above the ocean and easy walk to other shops in this nice, very small, Pacific town.

We loaded up the motorcycle and left Fort Bragg heading south on Highway 1 enjoying the sights along the way. In Gualala a cute little coast community we decided to look for a place for the night. We checked into Surf Inn. A cute little hotel on the west side of highway 1. The room was clean and comfortable and...

When we changed our plans and decided to spend the night in Gualala, we couldn't get a room anywhere in town. Everything was booked. Finally I found a room at the Surf Motel. Believe me, it was the last place I wanted to book. To our delight (I'm traveling with my 14-year old niece), it was perfect. Just as it...

The inn is located on US 1 and close to Sea Ranch where we had a friend and would be visiting. The inn is comfortable, and the service very good. As we knew we would be arriving after the office closed, we called ahead and the keys were left under the mat with each our names. Be sure you call...
