We loved our two nights here. Camping without the hard work. Tents pre erected with mattress, sleeping bag, towel and camping chairs. Set in a lovely location with a cosy tavern for beers and food in the evening. Clean shared bathroom facilities. Restaurant food prices a bit steep. General Store was more reasonable and had a good selection of snacks-spinach,... More

We stayed 3 nights in a Vintage Cabin towards the end of October and absolutely loved it! Evergreen Lodge is the perfect mix of rustic outdoorsy feel with luxury touches. We were there for the hiking, but loved coming back to the pool and a dip in the hot tub at the end of the day. The recreation team advised... More

The drive to the lodge is a long, windy, bone numbing trek to the middle of nowhere. Although the property is lovely, our 'cabin' was pretty rustic. There is no air conditioner (not that we needed it) and a wall heater. Bathroom shower had mold above it and blue toothpaste in the drain (our toothpaste is white). There was also... More

We stayed for 4 nights and loved it. The staff was very friendly and the food in the restaurant was surprisingly good. Which is nice since there really isn't any other dining option around. The only downside to this place is that it is about 45 minutes to Yosemite Valley and the village if you care about going there. We... More

Our family camped here for three nights for the fall break, and it was a wonderful experience. The unlimited smores in the night was a highlight for my kids. The tents were cozy but the nights got cold so we had to use extra blankets in addition to the sleeping bags provided. The bathrooms/showers were shared and my only discomfort... More

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was good, nothing spectacular but large portion sizes. The grounds were well maintained, the place really is gorgeous. Room was clean, only complaint was a non-functional in room radio. The pool and hot tub were awesome after a day of hiking. Overall, a wonderful time, we will definitely be... More

Stayed for 2 nights on our Yosemite visit. Close to the Big Oak entrance to the park and a 45 minute drive to the Valley Floor of Yosemite and even closer to Hetch Hetchy area which is well worth a visit. After a day spent exploring the awe inspiring views of Yosemite a comfortable cabin to come back to. Stayed... More

This is such a beautiful, magical place. I was on the verge of tears leaving as I was so desperate to stay. The lodges are very comfortable and large, a big bed and convenient little fridge. Love the balcony. Sunset viewpoint - wow. Make sure you come back at night and just sit and watch the stars from here. I... More

We stayed here 3 glorious nights. Proximity to Yellowstone and Hetch Hetchy was the draw. The cabin was smaller than anticipated but otherwise as described. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the patrons very friendly, many serial visitors. Grounds and pool were well used by us after long days in the parks. Dinner was a little disappointing as... More

A friend and I made a spontaneous trip up to the Yosemite area last week in order to do some wedding venue searching, and we stayed at The Evergreen Lodge for one night. We took advantage of their "camping" tents, which were fully equipped with comfortable mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows and clean pillow cases, lanterns and nearby bath facilities. It... More
