The areal is a great location for families for exploring Yosemite. The lodges are great, very clearn, comfortable and offer enough space. The team is super-friendly, the food in the restaurant delicious. Additionally, there are a lot of amenities which allow kids (and parents) enjoying the time at Evergreen: The pool and poolbar, the playgound, hammocks, hideaways, firesides etc. are phantastic! We surely would love to come back - the sooner the better!
More than just a place to stay, Evergreen Lodge is a destination itself. Every aspect is well thought out. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The grounds are well laid out and you feel at home among the trees and wonderful atmosphere. The food is excellent and reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. It’s right outside Yosemite and they offer great advice on your visit to the park. The evening campfires and s’mores were a great touch to cap off the day.
We had a great time at Evergreen lodge while visiting Yosemite Park. At Evergreen, you can tell that they work hard to make sure you have a pleasant stay. They're always helpful and friendly. Our cabin was perfect - it was just modern enough to feel comfortable even in a very rustic setting. We saw a mama deer and her little baby just outside our window and enjoyed their nature trail around the compound. Our daughters enjoyed the s'mores at night as well as the pool. We also loved the pool bar and evening bbq. Overall, it was a very chill, laid-back place (lively but not too crowded), with the option of a nice sit down meal or something more casual like eating pool-side or grabbing something from the very convenient and well stocked store. They also have a youth program, and I have to say, the training is top notch - everyone had a great attitude and were super professional.…
Spacious and comfortable log cabins just on the edge of Yosemite National Park. Great for going back into the park and seeing those not to be missed views. The food in the restaurant was delicous and there was something for all the family. Would definitely go back and stay.
We loved the atmosphere in general and especially of the swimming pool and main plaza. Very friendly staff and food was delicous at breakfast and diner. Our kids enjoyed the play areas, the games in the Tuolumne hall and the complimentary s'mores in the evening. Our family cabin was exactly as advertised on the website and comfortable. Kids loved the bunk bed. Unfortunately we had one of the few cabins next to the parking ground wich was noisy in the late evening and early morning. Other cabins seemed to be really quite at night. Be aware the drive to Yosemite Valley takes you about 1 hour. These small cons wouldn't keep us from returning. If we go back to Yosemite, we'll stay at the Evergreen Lodge!
Evergreen Lodge has been so wonderful! The grounds are gorgeous and our cabin is perfect! Kay's Nest has a great area for everyone to hang out and enough sleeping for a family of 4 (including two teen boys). We did the Range of Light tour through the valley and got to see El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, Yosemite Falls, Half Dome and many other highlights. Then next day we did the High Country tour and that was amazing as well! Got to see a beautiful little meadow and lake that was so peaceful and serene as well as Tenaya Lake and Tuolumne Meadows. Aaron was our guide for both days and he did an amazing job!!!! Very knowledgeable of the area and personable. Adrian from Rush Creek joined us on the 2nd trip and was also great!
Amazing resort. Very clean, very beautiful. Totally worth it. Stayed in couples tent. It was very comfortable and romantic. You get a resort type feeling staying here. Close to Yosemite park and a lot of things to do within the resort.
I loved staying at the Evergreen Lodge. The staff were fantastic, the lodge itself was soo much fun and the grounds: just beautiful. Make sure you get the brussel sprouts from the bar...they are killer,
The Evergreen Lodge was far the best place during our 3weeks journey in 12 national parks. Their cuisine is excellent! The nature and the wildlife is amazing. The vintage cabins are very comfortables, the sunset point place is beautiful. We were a party of 10, and we really do enjoyed our stay here.
The place is beautiful and remote, a wonderful place for a wedding. Jim Pence is the best hiking guide ever. His knowledge of Yosemite and the surrounding area is impressive, and he was so much fun to talk to and learn from.
