Not a bad hotel if you're in Glendale for a couple of nights. The rooms have a hint of an old fashioned character about them if a bit dusty. Everything worked and the shower and bathroom were quite spacious. There is a daunting flight of stairs immediately through the front door. But if you hang around at the bottom for...

If you or someone you're traveling with are unable to navigate a flight of stairs DO NOT stay at the Hotel Brandwood - and stop reading now. Everyone else please continue lest you miss out on a little slice of SoCal charm. I blind booked a two night stay in October based on price, star rating and location and I...

We parked out front and I opened the door and all I saw were stairs!!!! OMG I was winded when I got to the reception area. I wasn't sure about this at all. The gentleman behind the desk came down to get our luggage and brought some up but we had to bring a lot up too. After we brought...

Really good hotel with large rooms that are clean. The only sad thing was the view which was a brick wall, but since we only slept in the room it was not a big thing for us. If i visit L.A again im will consider to come back!

From check in to check out, everything was great! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and the service was fantastic. The rooms are a little small but furnished exquisitely and welcoming, it felt like home. The bathroom was updated and very nice. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, I wanted to pack them up and take them with me when I...

The rooms are clean but noisy (running water, pounding, noises from the hallway). The very tall armoire has clothes hangers that are so high they almost can’t be reached. The TV set has two remote controls: one changes the channels; the other adjusts the volume. The first floor of the hotel is NOT on the ground floor. After parking at...

The location was good walking to shopping and dining. Close to freeway access. Parking was free which was a plus. Walls were thin. Air conditioning was noisy and cycled on and off. Carpeting was old. Room was small and the bed was okay but it was clean. Staff was friendly.

The air conditioner in my room (that I didn't turn on 'til midnight) RATTLED and caused me to have to get out of bed several times during the night to whack it so that I could sleep. When I complained the next morning, the woman behind the counter could not have cared less. She lied to me and said the...

Absolutely the WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. The place smelled like cat urine or like something was recently exterminated there (like rats). They refused to refund our hotel fee even with the receptionist acknowledging the situation and saying it was because of construction downstairs. The bad smell wafted up in to the room through the vents and my 11...
