We stayed at Beltane Ranch for a recent long weekend in Sonoma. It was recommended by friends who had honeymooned there about 5 years ago. From the moment we drove up the road and were welcomed by Joy, to our cozy room and the amazing breakfast, we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We stayed in room 5,...

All great things to say about this B&B in Sonoma. It's right off of Route 12, the main drag through town...but set back from the road. The ranch is surrounded by large fields of vines, as you'd imagine! Rooms were comfortable, although there was no TV or fireplace in ours (lower level of the building). The property itself is gorgeous...

Beltane Ranch feels like a farm eden from a bygone era. Everything from the veranda swings to the sunlight filtering through shutters creates the perfect old fashioned setting. We stayed for two nights in September 2010 and had the most restful sleep. Doors on opposite sides of the room created a wonderful cross breeze and provided ways to experience both...

My husband rolled his eyes a bit when we pulled up (he really, really doesn't like B&B's - scarred for life in an unfortunate encounter with the dreaded overbearing innkeeper/excess doily combination). However, he was a convert in about 10 minutes. The place is absolutely beautiful and I'd want to immediately move in except I realize I probably wouldn't be...

We held our intimate ceremony at Beltane Ranch in September. It was stunning! we hired the whole ranch for two days which accommodated all of the party (10 in total). We have never felt so relaxed and welcomed. The rooms were stunning, quaint and idyllic and were in keeping with the style of the ranch. We were able to meander...

We spent 3 nights here in September. What a fabulous place - so beautiful and peaceful. The house is gorgeous - the gardens are wonderful - hummingbirds too - a joy to watch. We stayed in room 2 which is spacious, perfectly clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts at Beltane are spectacular - we would return just for that! We...

The Beltane Ranch is just a wonderful experience, the homestead is beautiful and the stories behind it's existence intriguing!! The Ranch is a fully functioning wine maker and my partner tells me the wines are impressive (I don't drink whites so can't comment). On arrival we were greeted by young Casie who gave us a run down on the rooms...

We rented the cottage - what a perfect choice. The owner even brought two pack and plays for our twins. The property is better than ever, the people are wonderful and the breakfasts are great. Simply a perfect antidote to the corporatist hotel chains and undifferentiated inns.

Beltane Ranch is a PERFECT place for a relaxing wine country vacation; it is so unpretentious; all of the staff was accommodating, the room was simple and lovely, just as a ranch should be. The breakfasts were made from scratch with their homegrown fruits and vegetables. The grounds are gorgeous, with every type of flower imaginable. The view each morning...
