I have stayed here frequently when flying out of and in to FAT because it is in the perfect location. Staff have always been very friendly and accommodating. I have always received excellent customer service. The hotel is at the point it needs some major TLC. Rooms are generally clean but very worn and dated. The grounds around the hotel are littered with cig butts, bottle caps, etc... Discovered a used needle near where I parked. There are some questionable characters around. Ultimately, it feels like there is a lack of pride and caring for the property, which is a total shame given its perfect location across from the airport.
Specifically asked for a room with a view of the pool, instead of the parking lot, but the clerk said only if there's one available. Gave us one overlooking the parking lot and after getting to our room we saw new guests going in to their new room across the hall from us, with a view of the courtyard and pool. No elevator for second floor guests and if you miss your turn you may be dragging your luggage the long way around, after lugging them up those long stairways. Lowest price in the area, if you don't mind not having breakfast and having to leave the hotel for it, because of no continental breakfast, which is an inconvenience and kind of rare. Pricey restaurant on the first floor but that's your only option unless your are willing to load up and drive 15 or 20 minutes to find something more reasonable. Close to the airport, but unless you have transportation you are stuck. Nothing within walking distance for food, entertainment or shopping.…
The hotel staff are very friendly. Efficient, and went beyond there service. Especially Juan, he is very nice, excellent service, making sure that everyone are safe. Juan went beyond the call of duty. Bringing me coffee. The front desk were really nice too. They accommodate me with all my printing things and moved me to another room. When it was needed. I will definitely comeback to stay again ...
I booked this room last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. Because of COVID, a lot of the things offered (such as gym) were closed. My room was clean and quiet, although the neighborhood looks sketchy...but then again, it's Fresno. They provide towels, hair dryer, shampoo, soap. They do not provide bottled water in the room, unfortunately. And my room was cold, cold, cold. The heater is extremely loud and even with it on continuously, it did not get very warm. It stopped in the middle of the night and I froze. I probably wouldn't book again only because I could probably get better room for same price.
My daughter recommended this hotel, and I enjoyed my stay. Room was vintage but comfy. The front desk were friendly Brian and Leona were helpful. The restaurant was good didn’t wait long to be seated and antonette was polite. For the price you can’t beat it.
