We checked in 5 minutes later a couple checked in right after us and the guy that helped us gave them our room key right so when I was naked and getting in the hot tub some strange people walked in when my husband was at the store and I thought it was my husband and nope it would be strange people who just came into my room it was the most humiliating and embarrassing experience of my life I will never stay there ever again and I don't ever recommend anybody ever to stay there they think that I'm sorry and refund cuts it and know that was humiliating I am so angry and just plain out one to punch the guy in the face that made me so mad How Could You mistake and we give them our room key and then we could even get into our room with our key on top of it all I do not recommend anybody to ever stay at the La Quinta Inn in Fowler California…
Wyndham rewards member traveling through and booked reservation through the Wyndham App prior to arrival. Been on the road all day, arrive at 7:00PM only to be told the reservation I had booked through the App was currently unavailable as they had no rooms with 2 Queens left. I said fine give me another room. Front Desk employee says he can’t change it. The Front Desk employee proceeded to call the MGR. The back and forth lasted 20 minutes. They asked me cancel the existing reservation and to re-book on the app. Why? Why can’t you just move me to another room? This has never happened before. The MGR offered me zero apology and only tried to get me to re-book at a higher rate. Terrible!! I ended up booking a King room through the APP which still did not work!! They said they could only offer me a King room at full price Front Desk rate. After I burned 3,000 points to get a discounted room through the APP!! Unreal, never been tested this way and feel scammed. Won’t be back and as a frequent traveler with Wyndham, extremely disappointed in the service at this hotel! …
Property is located within walking distance of a variety of eating places, mostly fast food. Breakfast nor any to go bags offered during the pandemic which in my opinion should be but was not reflected in a lower room rate. A/C worked well. Room had refrigerator and microwave. Has a small pool and spa area. WiFi is free but a bit slow and weak security. For some reason was put in a non-requested ADA room which could use a remodeling of bathroom. Thought room was clean until further inspection of dust on headboard and on furniture bases plus hair on shower head. Water pressure also low.
We try to find La Quinta when we travel. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We really appreciate the pet friendly policy. We very much enjoyed the breakfast and the attractive dining area.
This hotel is perfectly situated on Hwy 99. Minutes off the freeway it provides a luxurious day that is quiet and comfortable. Staff is professional, friendly, and tries to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
