this was our second trip to the Farmhouse. We chose a room that had a steam sauna and fireplace. The breakfasts were wonderful as was the dinner. Service is outstanding and extremely friendly staff. In the heart of the Russian River valley you are nearby special vineyards both famous and hidden secrets like Quivera. The Farmhouse staff will assist you...

When you first pull into the driveway of the Farmhouse, you feel like you are stepping back in time. There is a serene feeling you get as you walk back to the office to check in an take in the various elements – the buildings, the décor and the landscaping. A serendipitous find online had led us to this charming...

Wow, my new "favorite review ever". Thanks. Having you leave feeling like friends is exactly what we hope for. We love what we do, and feedback like this makes our day. I'm glad you enjoyed River's End. It really is the perfect place for a drink on the deck overlooking the ocean. Best, Catherine

We were treated so well, with the concierges giving great advice for travel, shopping, dining, etc. The cottages and other rooms were lovely. My husband and I were greatly impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the delicious food (we took advantage of the prix fixe menu on Monday) and the yummy breakfasts each morning. Our room had a sauna...

We look forward to having you return! Glad you enjoyed Charlotte. Shaved tail and all. Yes, readers, she looks like a black wanna be poodle. She got the worst of it in a fight with a very testy squirrel and came home from the vet looking pretty silly. See you two soon, I hope. Catherine

From the minute we arrived we new we were someplace special. The staff warmly welcomed us -- provided recommendations for wineries and pointed us to the free goodies -- spa products like avocado soap and honey scrub - and make it yourself smores. Cottage number 4 was well appointed with a jetted tub, sauna and fireplace. The restaurant is the...

We spent 2 great nights here mid-February -- rainy, blowy weather so the fireplace in the room and complimentary coffee, tea and cocoa were perfect. Room was small but comfy and accommodated our lazy afternoon reading after winetasting. Location is perfect for exploring west Sonoma county, Russian River area. A bit farther to Dry Creek but do-able. Breakfasts were yummy,...

The staff are wonderful, food in the restaurant impeccable, and the accommodations comfortable and luxurious. The attention to detail is what I noticed. So many little extras that you feel like they are reading your mind. Definitely what you look for in a get-away. Set in the beautiful rolling hills of wine country. There are not any real views from...

We Love the Farmhouse and would highly recommend it to foodies and couples seeking a sweet, special and romantic getaway. Though it's not cheap, it's worth it if you can afford to splurge. And the restaurant is So damn good!

The Inn is amazing! The comfort of the rooms is better than being at home and the service and attention to detail are superb! Anything you want for your stay, they can and will arrange. The restaurant serves an amazing breakfast every morning! And....we had an incredible dinner there too with some great wines. If you want a wonderful day...

Beautiful hotel, fabulous rooms (we stayed in the barn), nice little pool area, tasty breakfast (probably the best I've ever had at a B&B), great dinner at the restaurant, and the bathroom is gorgeous! You won't be disappointed! The hotel's cat is also a welcome addition. We did a day of biking around Dry Creek Valley (booked ahead of time...

After looking at Napa and Sonoma hotel/spa combinations, I decided that we didn't want to deal with the crowds and traffic. The Farmhouse was tone perfect – beautiful, but not pretentious or overly formal. This not Auberge du Soleil or Meadowood, it's smaller, quirkier, more intimate and more charming. We booked cottage #7, and it was cosy and well appointed...
