A peaceful place for hectic free seekers... Closer to nature yet the landscaping of the resort surely gives you a different experience, some what living in an european country homes.. It was an awesome yet romantic outing for me and my husband.. They have activities there but you will have time more for one another, a place that connects relationships...

We went there on Christmas Day, but didn't book a room there. The resort is not very big; it should take you around 45mins tops to cover the area (not including the Japanese Garden). Architecture is quaint and the resort is reasonably well maintained and clean. As the weather was nice and cooling it really did give us a feel...

It is a beautiful, cute french themed resort, along the location which is surrounded by mountains. The architecture looks awesome. I think it would be good if you book a room and stay there. However, if you do not stay there, you dont really have things to do except looking around and taking pictures.. moreover, it takes about 1.5hours from...

This place is located in Pahang. Offering a cool climate with French feel. You can arrive this place using your own car, taxi, or shuttle car that departs from Berjaya Times hotel, Kuala Lumpur. If you plan to visit Colmar Tropicale using shuttle car, it is better if you buy the ticket a day before to ensure the seat availability...

Its our day trip as didnt manage to book a room as it was peak season. Enjoy the weather there as it was cooling compare with KL. Entry per adult was RM16 (collected at the arch of road leading to top). Have a nice walk around the French-themed and Japanese-themed buildings. F&B was a little expensive though. We booked for one night stay and we really enjoyed our room as it was so spacious (in an attic). there was also free breakfast and free shows outside (although it's the same show played at different intervals). There are many restaurants in the area as well. you can also visit the Japanese Garden as they have free shuttle. But...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Colmar Tropicale was modeled after 16th century Colmar town, north east of Alsace, France, also incorporatingarchitectural designs and elements from ancient surrounding villages of Riquewihr, Turckheim and Kaysersberg. The realization of this French themed village derived from the wish list of the Malaysia's fourth Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, who upon his visit to the region of Alsace were so impressed, that it inspired Tan Sri Vincent Tan, the founder of Berjaya Corporation Berhad to replicate the actual Colmar town in Malaysia. The resort comprised of 235 rooms and suites, offers 8 food & beverage outlets / lounges with food variety ranging from local & international cuisine to an authentic French fine dining restaurant. It also offers meeting rooms and banqueting facilities. ... more   less
