The owners were warm, friendly and very accommodating! The location was excellent as a jumping point to the Kineret and points north. Gefan was so accommodating and such a nice guy and had many good pointers about places to see in the area! The rooms were very roomy, comfortable and airy. It was great to walk around the grounds early... More

I was traveling alone through Israel and this was one of my stops. I stayed for a few days and made great friends with Gefan! They let me help cook and serve tables and play music for guests! It is located right near an ancient synagogue overlooking the Arbel Valley/ Arbel National Park. The food is all homemade and truly... More

Clean rooms with everything I'm looking for: comfortable beds and bedding (inc. plenty of pillows), properly working air conditioning and plumbing (inc. both rainfall and handheld shower heads); drinking glass in the bathroom; plenty of towels and hooks to hang them on; wastebasket that you can actually open when on the toilet (as opposed to invariably broken foot-operated), lovely pool... We were a couple and two adult children and spent two nights. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The weather was gorgeous and we sat out on the porch at night; we also enjoyed the pool. This was in late October! The only thing missing was a wastebasket in the bedroom. Everything else was perfect.

We (2 + 1) took a room with a balcony, the furniture had its qualities, but very old, the kitchen table was tilted, so round items roll off of it, same for the hooks in the bathroom. Ants everywhere (I had to stick a toilet paper in the holes in the walls). The Jacuzzi is nice and there is hot... More

After hiking 16 km on the Jesus Trail my wife and I arrived hot, thirsty, and tired. The reception was very hospitable, the accommodations were good, and the food was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Spent overnight with dinner and bed and breakfast. After a dawn hike came back for a dip in the pool. One of best breakfasts - with homemade jams, fruit shakes and much more. Dinner delicious and unpretentious. Hosts friendly and helpful. Lovely calm atmosphere. Rooms we stayed in in basement not luxurious, but clean and perfect for our needs.

Spent a very nice 2 nights here. It also has a restaurant attached but we didn't eat there. Lovely pool, rooms comfortable although the kitchen could have been a bit better equipped. Having said that, we didn't really use it much and had we have needed anything I'm sure the very obliging Shavit's would have supplied it.

Arbel is a very sweet guest house with a really lovely staff! Breakfast is divine-soooooo much food that is fresh and delicious. The pool is clean and warm. The grounds are tidy and the rooms are nice. Only complaint is that the beds weren't terrific & could use an upgrade. Otherwise, a wonderful stay with our kids-we would definitely go... More

We stayed at Arbel for 3 nights in the Two bedroom Apartment. Not the height of luxury but extremely comfortable beds, ample facilities and fantastic views and incredible cooking. Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel very much at home. Delicious breakfasts, and exceptional dinner if you wish. Make sure you ask Israel to show you his Chocolate... More
