The holiday village is located on the eastern side of the Sea of Galilee, a short drive from the kibbutz of the same name. The holiday village is beautiful and tidy and all the rooms are within touching distance of the water. There is a tidy beach with rescue services, sports facilities, there is a supermarket and a dining room for those who ordered meals. You should take the ground floor rooms. They have outdoor seating and a private barbecue area. Some of the family suites have a fully equipped kitchen that includes dishes, pots, a microwave, a refrigerator and a hob for cooking, where you can prepare food. The resort is a short drive distance from many area attractions. A good restaurant nearby is the fish restaurant located in the kibbutz. There are plenty of parking spaces for hotel guests. Highly recommend, full value for money.…
Me and my wife were looking for a stay by the kinneret/sea of Galilee, which gained back its massive reputation as one of the most desirable attractions in Israel, due to the fact that during last winter , the amount of water flown to it was enormous. We’ve been in Ein -Gev village some 30 years ago, when it was much smaller. Now days , there is a selection of types of rooms/apartments in the village, sea rooms and view rooms , to name just a few.We were recommended by friends of ours ( who have been there few times recently) to book a view room. Luckily, there was one available when we made the booking just one day prior to our arrival. The view rooms section is located in the southern side of the village, and as the name suggests, there is a wonderful sea view from the rooms, very large lawn and grass area between the rooms and the sea, and some hammocks , chairs, and barbecue facilities , all scattered around outdoor. The place enjoys a relaxed ,pleasant atmosphere and the beach on the northern side is quite large, full with lounge chairs and big enough to accommodate the village’s visitors. Breakfast was served according to the new corona virus regulations and still, was quite impressive with a large selection on offer. In summary, a very pleasant, enjoyable day by the magnificent Kinneret…
The only resort which gives you a first class service and yet keeps the original magic atmosphere of the place. The beach is superb. Breakfast is as good as one can expect. The cabins on the north side are perfect for families
We booked what we expected to be a two-bedroom suite for three adults, but turned out to have one bedroom and a convertible bed in the lounge area. Still, we were only here for one night so it didn't matter too much. Not much variety in the resturants on site, so we needed to go out to find something suitable. Breakfast buffet limited.
We stayed here with a tour group of about 34 people. Our room had a view (as most rooms do) of the Sea of Galilee and a beautiful view of the city of Tiberias at night. The rooms were very simple but clean and very functional. The remote controls for the heating/ac units were somewhat confusing but we eventually figured them out (It uses a symbol of the sun for heat and it looks a lot like the snowflake for cool). Their breakfast and dinner buffets are pretty amazing with a little bit of everything available.
