I saw Escondido on the map and thought that this far from the city we would be trapped like rats but it did not feel that way at all. We drove in to San Diego, La Jolla, Oceanside and were close enough to Palomar Mountain...More
We bought an Interval Getaway for this resort and it was well worth it. We were in the Villas on the Green area, with a golf course view. The noise from I-15 was a bit much, but being winter we had our doors closed most...More
There is something so soothing and refreshing about staying here in the lovely hills outside Escondido. The Welk units are large, perfectly furnished, and located among wonderfully landscaped grounds. There are huge pools, fun activities for all ages, and a location that allows access to...More

I would suggest a villa in Harmony Hill. All the areas have wonderful amenities but if you are going with teenagers, they would probably love the sand volleyball, basketball courts, game room and pool by Harmony. The mountain resort has the bigger pool and also a game room but not the things I see the older kids loving as much as by Harmony. Harmony is also a short walking distance from the rock climbing wall and the pickle ball court by Melody Hill. Melody Hill pool is only for adults but the other amenities can be used by anyone. Hope that helps. Have fun!!
