Last night my wife and I evacuated from the Northstate. Similar to a1987 evacuation I did with my Dad. Both times our thoughts were to flee to Davis. A place familiar to us. Each time we made the choice to seek refuge at the Hallmark Inn. What made this trek so memorable was the 7.5 hour drive to Davis (which...

Surrounded by good restaurants, fun pubs, movie theater we love to park the car and explore the town after a long day on the road. There are hotels a little closer to UC Davis but fun stuff in town is where you want to stay.

My wife and I stayed here for a friends wedding weekend and it was a great value for what you got. The hotel is in a great location where you can walk to all the downtown Davis restaurants and shops. The lobby area, pool, and cafe are all very nice and and inviting. The rooms themselves are a little outdated...

My gf and I stayed at the Hallmark Inn, where we were extremely disappointed (this might even be an understatement), despite the staff being nice. It was bad enough that the bed was rock hard, that the sheets were rough and coarse, that the fridge rumbled and vibrated non-stop (only to silence when unplugged), that the slits of the front...

Spent three non-consecutive nights here with two friends on a recent trip to Davis. The best things about this hotel is definitely the location -- you can walk anywhere in Davis from here easily. The first two nights we were in what I believe they called the "East Building," which felt very much like every roadside motel from the 1970s-1980s....

Nice two bed room. No complaints. Nothing to knock your socks off. You get a $17 per bed breakfast coupon. Breakfast was cheap and average. Good location, walking distance to everything in town. Short drive to the University.

We stayed here at the Hallmark Inn in Davis, CA over the Columbus Day weekend for a wedding. The room rate included free breakfast for two for up to about $8 (I can't remember) each, which gave you quite a bit of food. The rooms themselves included a microwave, mini fridge, quiet HVAC unit and iron. No in room safe,...
