Location, price, hotel and staff all were fantastic. We had a 3 rooms but queen with balcony was best! Next time will book the one with wet bar though. Tons of stuff nearby to walk to. All staff were nice and helpful. There was no designated area for dogs so keep in mind if you're bringing your dog.

Management really went above and beyond a normal hotel stay to make it special for us. Very clean and accommodating place and would highly recommend. Breakfast was good and how about that pancake maker!

We stayed here for 2 nights, friendly and helpful staff. Covered parking, walking distance to downtown and several restaurants. The rooms were clean and spacious with a small refrigerator. Do not get room next to ice machine in the hall way. People getting ice at all hours. Did not use pool or gym due to time crunch.

Nice hotel! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a free full breakfast with many choices. Nice location, close to the Dana Point Harbor, shopping and restaurants. We would love to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Very clean, great value. Continental breakfast included. Very close to the harbor without the price tag of other places. About 15 minutes walking distance from the harbor and all the activities. Only downside is no views.

Cute little hotel. Rooms were average size (even the suites) on a busy road though if that bothers you will hear cars driving by all night. Hotel is pet friendly and our suite smelled like a dog. We have dogs so it didn't bother me too bad but I was surprised that I could smell it. Pool was heated and...

The hotel has a great location, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and quite large. As others have said, the walls are thin, so definitely go for a room on the third floor. It's a typical Best Western - a serviceable room but nothing special. The balconies are laughably small, and since ours faced the...

This location is convenient, has reasonable rates, is clean, and has a super friendly staff. I would suggest 3rd floor rooms for a decent view of bay. The suites are large. Furniture is a little dated if those are things you need. Our son just moved to Dana Point so this is affordable for our visits. See you again.

This seemed like a very overpriced hotel. The service was fine and I have no complaints regarding this, but the walls seem very thin, I could hear my neighbor watching TV at 2am. It was not a loud volume, but I could still hear every single word next door which makes for a miserable night's sleep. The sheets were paper...

Dear Wyndie, I'm sincerely sorry you found your stay with us so unpleasant. It is our goal that every guest of the Marina Shores finds their accommodations to be clean, comfortable and an excellent value. Bed comfort, as I have said in other reviews, is a very subjective opinion ... some people prefer the softest mattresses that they can just...
