During the first week of November/2018, we flew from Zurich to Los Angeles (LA) with SWISS, a very pleasant trip, despite of the distance and being a day-flight. In LA we stayed at "The Culver Hotel". A boutique Hotel (and, obviously, not a cheap place), antique (about 90 years o

The entire experience was wonderful and relaxing! The staff are all great, very helpful and friendly, the food was unbelievable. We had cappuccinos at breakfast- omg - heavenly! Live bands every night, really fun all around. :):)

I was just fortunate enough to make my first visit to The Culver Hotel and boy am I glad that I did. The timeless exterior of the property is as charming as the most chic interior where I felt well cared for the moment upon entry. While I was traveling solo I stayed in the Classi

The Wednesday before thanksgiving was a busy night. We had booked but there was difficulty seating us. The staff were excellent, the food was fine and plenty of it. Altogether a good experience.

We do have a majority of our rooms with King size beds and a smattering of Double/Doubles, which are meant for 2 people per room. 2 of our Junior Suites have 2 x Queen beds. We do appreciate the feedback. Seth

Hello Is there any outside space to sit and read ?
We have lovely outdoor areas to sit and read. Our patio is unique, it is not facing any traffic. It faces out to the Town Plaza and there is sunny and shaded spaces for our guests to enjoy all day long. At night it gets very busy, a real bar scene, but during the day it is quiet and gorgeous.

Is there a gym in the hotel or nearby?
Goodness gracious, missed the question and took far too long to answer. Sorry. We have a little gym in our hotel that is open 24 hours a day with a bike, treadmill and a universal machine with some free weights. There is also a LA Fitness that is a 5 minute drive from the hotel.

Is the parking secure, additional costs?
I unfortunately do not know. We parked in a garage a few blocks away and walked to the hotel. We were not staying overnight.
