We were surprised by no a/c. We are low maintenance, don't have a/c at home since we live in mountains but felt a/c was necessary here. Room was quite hot and stuffy when we arrived. Called desk and were told there was a swamp cooler in the closet and fans. Swamp cooler needs to be filled with water and you...

We felt that is was a great location and a good value for your money. We will stay there again on our next trip. Yes, the doors closing are noisy and you can tell some corners were cut, but we were not there to buy the place (lol). The beds were very comfortable and that's what we look for and...

Overall stay was very good. Excellent location. The bad part, they have a tight parking lot and they could change the breakfast with full menu. However the rooms comes with full kitchen so you can create your own!

We appreciate you taking the time to write your review. Yes, we agree parking can be tight when we are full. Fortunately we have the movie theater next door with ample parking. Good feedback regarding our breakfast we will stay with the same format. It is complimentary and we do not have a full kitchen to a cook to order...

We are travelling with 2 little kids and it's essential for us to have a suite with a kitchenette and a pool. This hotel met all of our expectations. It almost looks like this building used to be an apartment building converted into hotel. The room was a true one bedroom apartment suite with a full kitchen. In fact, it...

Well-located, this place is also horribly out of date: no AC in a town that gets hot, shabby furniture in the rooms, either noise from traffic or the pool. Maybe good for a large family with the kitchenette, etc., but not a nice place to stay otherwise.

Thank you for promoting how well-located we are for the Bay Area. We respect your opinion regarding the building being older as it was built in the early sixties. Regarding the furniture all has been replaced and updated in the last year. We do not promote air conditioning, but provide each room with a fan and a evaporative cooler to...

Marin Suites turned out to be a very old hotel/motel that was recently refurbished and new furnishings and amenities added. The remodel had been VERY tastefully done, but some corners were cut and that in itself revealed the true condition underneath (ie. interiors doors had not been changed, HVAC/electrical not upgraded - although portable units were provided). In actuality the...

We appreciate your feedback both the love and the hate. We are an older hotel built back in the early sixties. We continue to work on the remodel to upgrade the hotel. Most recently changing the double pane windows. We are now looking to insulate walls to absorb the noise. The rooms should stay up to date. Our breakfast does...

It will come as a shock to no one that Marin County is expensive. Although this hotel is more than we usually prefer to pay, it is not unusually high for the area. It has some pros and cons. Pros: 1) We stayed in a one bedroom suite (a true suite with two rooms separated by a door) which was...

We stayed for a lacrosse tournament and were very pleasantly surprised at how nice and spacious the rooms were. The grounds are nice with BBQs, pool, jacuzzi and firepits. Plus a curtained outside sitting area with TVs, comfy outdoor furniture, etc. Great value. Great space for families. Decent a Breakfast.

Thank you for your endorsement. We host a variety of sport teams from youth groups to college teams. The spacious rooms are ideal having the sleeper sofa as well as 1 & 2 bedrooms. We couldn't agree more that are a great value and great space for families. We look forward to seeing next time

Nice hotel with good size rooms. We were 2 families staying here visiting San Francisco with only a short drive to the city. Ferries also available. Good neighborhood with shopping nearby. However some noise from the Highway. Pool / out door area good - with BBQs available for cooking.
