Had a recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Chula Vista. It was easily accessible to the freeway which made it easy for me to head to the border for work yet close to downtown San Diego on my day off. Due to COVID I didn't have all the fun things to do as I probably would of had if I came during different dates but it was still a nice stay. Team was friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Would stay here should I travel to the area again.

Small quaint property with awesome staff and clean rooms! Traveled during COVID and it they had all the safety precautions in place to keep my family and I feeling safe. I would definitely stay again the next time I am visiting the area!

I’m a Chula Vista native but I live in Arizona and of course I have family all over the city. But sadly all have full houses. Haven’t had much luck with hotels every time we come to visit. My family is a family of five. Got a suite for our large fam and It was perfect !!! Room was spacious, clean, kid friendly, very family accommodated. Trying to connect to the WiFi was a lil hard but person upfront helped us easily. The beds were a lil firm but nothing I can not manage with. I loved the shampoo and conditioner made my hair and my daughters hair soft. Overall had a great time and you best believe we will be returning.

Large room, super comfy bed with nice linens. The breakfast was ok, and better than most. Free parking. Close to the border where we had a dental appointment. Will definitely return when we come this way again
