Need to start by saying that Paul who works on the front desk is a great bloke and a great asset to this place - very helpful, friendly and cheery. Otherwise this is a middle of the road motel. We arrived on July the 3rd and the price was a little expensive at $140 and although the next night was...

We have been staying at the Dolphin Inn for years. The same India lady has owned it for years. She goes out of her way to make you happy. It's Quiet And clean. In July they were updating the room .we definitely will continue staying at the Dophin Inn. Hope to go back soon.

This place was disgusting. Well not worth an 1/8 of the $200 a night we paid for the holiday weekend. The room was mildew smelling and the sheets, walls, floor, and pretty much everything was below sanitary standards. Upon staying in a place like this, it just makes me wonder how code is passed and health inspectors allow a business...

On a spur of the moment trip to to coast my husband and I booked a room here. We took the last room they had (#19) and I really wished we would have looked else where. While the room is clean and a good size, it has a small kitchenette which looks kinda scary to use and the beds are...

The Dolphin Inn is like an old car with over 200,000 miles on the odometer--the paint is faded and chipped, the upholstery is worn and torn, but it starts up and gets you where you want to go. The Dolphin Inn looks weary. It could use new paint and repair work. Our room was spacious and clean under the low...

Since 2004 I have been staying at the Dolphin Inn because it is all I need: a quiet place to sleep, very reasonable rates, and a staff that's friendly as well as competent. For anyone who wants to spend twice as much for luxury, please go ahead, and leave more reservation dates open for me.

I have stayed at this place by myself and really enjoyed it with the kitchen and my dog...was pretty cool...it was pretty quiet...couple of guests hanging out but to bed early...I have now taken my beautiful new wife with me ...and we have some pros and cons about it.....we would come again for sure knowing that this is not uptown...we...

This property needs some repair work immediately. The heater did not work in the guest cottage that we stayed in. The owner came to light it 3 or 4 times, but it would not stay lit. They had an electric heater that would not maintain its temperature. It would overheat and we would shut it off and then have to...

We stayed there a few months ago. It's not fancy but neither was the price. Come on, how much did you think it's going to cost for a room in a small coastal town in California? We got what we paid for. We got a clean room, easy access to the beach (even if we had to cross the street)...

There were only two hotels available in Cayucos for the weekend we were going. Both had poor reviews but the Dolphin was a little better. The cost for one night was $179.00 but should have been priced around $80.00. Supply and demand of course is the driving factor. The place is old and shows it. It just feels neglected. However,...
