Owner Rude and doesn't seem to care about business. We may have further business trips in that area, certainly won't be staying there. Made reservation and verified. Purposely noted it was a business triip. My daughter (19 years old) showed up to check in, they said no one under 21 can check in. While on the phone with reception person,...

Terrible. Dirty Carpet so gross I didn't want to take of my socks. Lumpy too small bed (paid for a king got a full size, but it was 1am and I was tired). Lumpy bed, small lumpy pillows, cheap linen, small cheap towels, plastic under sheets made noise when turning I know it wasn't a 5 star but I was...

We read reviews before making reservations. The comments about Les proved true. Room was comfortable, well equipped and clean. Next time we go to the Bay Area we plan to stay there. As has been stated it was indeed affordable and convenient.

I searched for an affordable place to stay while visiting family in Castro Valley. There were other cheaper places, but the reviews didn't do them justice. For the area, Castro Valley Inn is a nice, comfortable, and very affordable place to stay, with easy access to Interstate 580. There's also a grocery store across the street, very convenient. The manager,...

For the price, you can't just pass it up! The room was spacious. There was a dining table, dressing table, TV, ironing board and iron, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, alarm clock. It had everything you may possibly need. Bathroom can't complain. It honestly felt like I was staying in a small studio style apartment. It had that homey feel to it. Les...

This is a very nice motel. Rooms are nice, good sized, clean, everything worked. The bed was firm but OK. Breakfast is packaged pastries. The manager, Les, is very friendly and helpful. He arranged for the maintenance guy to take us to the Bart station and pick us up when we returned. Saved us a lot of hassle. We stayed...

No frills motel which is not far from the train into San Francisco. Don't expect any extras for the price. Use only as a place to stay for the evening. The breakfast consists of coffee and a packaged pastry. The coffee is not the best, but remember the money saved by staying outside San Francisco. It was clean, comfortable and...

I have to say my stay here was excellent. Les, the manager, was more than helpful and accommodating in a variety of circumstances. Great for restaurant info as well as other local info. I highly recommend the place.

We visited this Inn this week March 27, 2015. It was very reasonable, very clean, bathrooms are actually in granite, a surprise, it is quiet, no frills, but all ameneties one would need. Even has coffee in the rooms. They do advertise a continental breakfast, but that is just coffee and some pre-packaged sweet rolls. One weird thing, they have...

Hotels in the bay area are very expensive, usually more than what a traveler wants to pay. You can stay at one of the 'diamond' hotels, and spend your life savings. Or, drive down the road to The Castro Valley Inn. Nothing over the top here, you get a clean room at a reasonable price. The place has a very...
