Pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the staff. a treasure to find after a long drive. The pool and spa are a must for a business traveler like myself. The restaurant and staff ere friendly and made my short time in Carpenteria a pleasant one.

Just happy to have found a place to stay since I booked online Thursday for Friday night only one night stay. Have a great time in Carpenteria. Hotel is ok.. Had coffee maker which I like. Toilet was broken ,but they fixed it shortly after I checked in. Glad I tested it when I checked in rather than the middle...

Stayed at this hotel because of its moderate rates while on a trip to Santa Barbara. The hotel is a pretty, three story Spanish style structure with red bougainvillea spilling over the walls. My huge room was super clean, nicely decorated and had everything I needed. After a long day driving I was glad to find a bar with a...

We were hoping to stay in Santa Barbara for the weekend but prices were atrocious and we were unable to get the Santa Barbara Best Western on points. My husband used to stay at this hotel on business years ago and we decided to stay here instead (on points). We had a great room on the first level, right on...

Stayed here while visiting the UCSB campus. The hotel room was old & shabby. Bathroom needs remodeling. Faucets did not close all the way, tub shower did not work property, tiles seems to be dirty & carpet had stains all over. At night there were sounds of people shouting from the adjacent parking lots. Did not feel safe. Definitely not...

Check in ok, staff on the desk were not really interested in the customers, although Kyle was very nice. No breakfast included which was disappointing considering the price. Carpets were stained and smelly, and the whole place was noisy. There is a pool but its really small and I wouldn't of wanted to go in it and listen to the...

My wife and I stayed here as it had the amenities we wanted at the price point we needed. We were visiting Santa Barbara for 2 days and since we had a car, with this property being about 10 miles south of Santa Barbara and located very close to the freeway (US 101), it worked for us. The property is...

Tiny room; very stuffy upon arrival. Shower drain clogged/slow. Bathroom in need of upgrade. Room otherwise ok. Restaurant food not very good. Astroturf in the courtyard makes a potentially beautiful sitting area tacky/cheap.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff was very professional as well as friendly and helpful. We would stay at this hotel again. Having a restaurant on site was also great. The food was very good and the staff friendly. Whenever we encountered any of the hotel staff they always had a smile and greeting for us.

It was an ok place. I recommend it. The location was great. This city is a jewel. The gardens are superb. Very well taken care of. Pleasure. Best Western is an average hotel. But it is usually located where you need it. Thanks
