Tiny room; very stuffy upon arrival. Shower drain clogged/slow. Bathroom in need of upgrade. Room otherwise ok. Restaurant food not very good. Astroturf in the courtyard makes a potentially beautiful sitting area tacky/cheap.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff was very professional as well as friendly and helpful. We would stay at this hotel again. Having a restaurant on site was also great. The food was very good and the staff friendly. Whenever we encountered any of the hotel staff they always had a smile and greeting for us.

It was an ok place. I recommend it. The location was great. This city is a jewel. The gardens are superb. Very well taken care of. Pleasure. Best Western is an average hotel. But it is usually located where you need it. Thanks

My main gripe is that the room was close enough to the freeway so that it was really loud, with the sound of trucks rumbling throughout the night. The staff was ok but mostly ignored us. The building looked quaint from the outside but was undergoing renovations on part of the inside. The room and bathroom were clean which ultimately...

Really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Carpinteria Inn July 22-25, 2015. For a small laid-back town that Carpinteria is, this hotel and its staff were all first class. Staff at Front Desk were attentive and professional, making check-in smooth and quick even though I arrived late at night. Hotel lobby opens out into a sort of atrium with...

Beds and pillows are great, very comfortable and shower have great pressure but goes from cold to super hot without moving the handle, what make very difficult to take...

The room seemed nicely decorated and the bathroom has been renovated but the cleaning of the bathroom by housekeeping was only average. The lights in my room were on a sensor and they kept going out every few minutes while I was working at the desk with my computer. There is no common area outside to sit with people. It...

We were only here for one night and thank God! At 10pm we heard random drilling next door. Not to mention they have a random "remote sensor" by the tv that looks more like a small camera. Very suspicious and odd. The pictures on their site are very misleading. Spa isn't near the pool and is very small. Very old...

Excellent property and people! We will definitely stay here again, my only wish was that they had a complimentary breakfast, You will not be dissapointed if you choose to stay here. Especially if your room is not backed up to the freeway.

We got a lot more than we expected!! The building has a lot of character and the courtyard was beautiful. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Edwin at the front desk was so helpful, we got ther at 12 and wanted a room pretty close to the lobby as we had my 79 year old...
