They love dogs, with a 160lb dog it's sometimes difficult to get a room, some places only take small dogs, my dog was treated wonderfully, he came to breakfast with me, or you can arrange to have breakfast brought to your room. Staff arranged for me to have a massage in my room, with my dog right there, wonderful! My...

We've loved bringing our dogs to Carmel over the years and have stayed at the Cypress Inn two or three times before. This time we decided to try the Camel Country Inn based on the strong TripAdvisor reviews and also the need to minimize stairs and maximize quick access to the outdoors for our elderly labrador retriever. We could not...

Stayed in 2 bed suite - nicely decorated and spacious overall though bedroom a bit small. Good location in Carmel - walking distance to shops and restaurants but not noisy. Good buffet breakfast provided in large communal kitchen. Staff very friendly and helpful.

What a wonderful and charming place. My Wife and I have always enjoyed our time in Carmel. The town is great with its shops, galleries and dinning. The beach is the most stunning piece of coast line in all of California. The Carmel Country Inn is the BEST place to stay in town!! The Inn is located just off downtown so...

My wife and I celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniverary early here and the color's of the landscape and the overall comfort within our King Deluxe Suite are over-whelming! The simple way the interior of our room was laid out, is just like home for us! Even with the pet-friendly atmosphere added to our delight being such animal lover's! I must...

A tucked away gem...in fact, so tucked away Google Maps couldn't find it. The directions took us in the back way which could have made for a bad day if I didn't have some clue as to where I was going. We were greeted with cookies and trail mix so the weariness from the road was soon forgotten. We were...

Stayed here 2 nights in June on our first visit to the Carmel area. Chose this Inn based on its pet friendly marketing and reviews. As for pet friendliness, they excel. We met several other guests with 4 legged companions, all (humans and dogs) were delightful and well behaved. The Inn allows dogs in all areas, including the breakfast room....

This Inn/ B&B was the perfect solution to wanting to get away for a few days but not wanting to have a pet sitter. Don't let this scare those of you that don't want to deal with other guest's dogs. They do have "rules" about dog behavior and their expectations of the owners management of their pets. I have to...

We stayed at the Carmel Country Inn in April 2011 for three nights. At first glance, the Inn is unprepossessing, but the rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated with a refrigerator and large screen t.v. It was nice having a separate suite area to relax in. The breakfast was continental with bagels, fruit, juice, toast, oatmeal, cereal and quiches! More...
