What a gem! Loved that they are Pet friendly and have a sweet courtyard. Rooms are Nicely kept and maintained. The great part is most rooms have a fireplace! That makes all the difference during those chilly nights. The walk to the beach is not far. So many great places that are all walking distance. It's the type of place...

Excellent rooms (all with an electric fireplace as heater). Excellent breakfast. Excellent location (a few minutes from the town center). Excellent service. There appear to be so many B&B style places in Carmel-by-the-sea but we would most definitely not hesitate to come back.

This is a quaint Carmel cottage inn with pretty gardens and friendly staff. Great location and within walking distance to shops and dining. The continental breakfast is a nice way to start the day, and if preferred, trays are provided for in-room dining.

We visited this lovely bnb on our drive up the coast and found it to be very comfortable, clean and just what we were after. The breakfast was good too. I recommend this if you're looking for something neat and quaint.

I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a cozy cottage look and feel. Yes the rooms are small but very comfortable would have wanted a large tub, but pricing and location were better than the tub I would not use. It rained for our stay forgot the umbrella, but they had loaners, saved me from a walk in the...

I have to resist the temptation to rip this place apart piece by piece but probity demands that I be objective and unemotional and limit my comments to the one room and its neighbours Where to start??? Let's go with reception around 17.55 on Monday 17th October.Another subscriber has summed it up to a T and I plagiarise as follows...

Dear previous guest, We appreciate your feedback and were unaware during your stay that you were not happy with the room choice offered. Many people love this room and re-book it often. We are sorry your stay was unpleasant and would have tried to remedy the situation if we knew you were not happy with the room. The Carmel Fireplace...

The staff is very friendly and the location is great. Parking is limited on weekends, but there is unrestricted parking on adjacent streets. The inn is OLD, and the rooms are clean but somewhat dated. the coffee maker is stained and the alarm clock is 25 years old. There is no AC, but it isnt really necessary because the rooms...

We have stayed here 4 times now and still love it. We have stay in different rooms each time and each has there own charm. So far my favorite is the one is Room 25 or hmm maybe its the upstairs one overlooking the street. Ahem. Both were great. Staff is super friendly and we will likely stay again :)

Spent the night here recently on our way to San Francisco. We arrived late to Carmel & had nothing booked. Nice lady at the desk gave us the choice of two rooms, both lovely. We chose the one nearest the parking for convenience. The room was spacious & v clean. The bathroom was small but adequate. Breakfast was a bit...

I wouldn't say we were greeted at check in, as the cheerless person who rattled off the rules and regs made it feel more like a prison intake session. But that wasn't the worst of our experience. Frankly in my view the place doesnt look like its had a makeover in a long time, with the exception of a bit...
