We chose the Briarwood Inn, having rejected two other inns we had phoned up but didn't like the look of when we drove by. We could not have chosen better, as not only did we have a separate sitting room/kitchenette but also the benefit of...More
I surprised my wife with a trip for her 50th birthday and had a good friend recommend the Briarwood Inn. It was everything we had been told about. The room was clean and comfortably big enough to use as a base to get out and...More
Accommodations met our needs. We had 2dogs with us. There was plenty of room. Having our car right outside our room was so convenient. Robin was very accommodating. Missy and Angel had a great time. Beach time was the highlight of our trip. Everyone was...More
You have no choice but to love this place if you are greeted at the door by the resident squirrel! Check in was easy and we were walked to our cottage which was facing the street behind the inn. It was very cute and spacious....More
Our place was a two bedroom cottage with parking which is a plus.
Kitchen, coffee maker, fireplace, maid service, close to the main town with places to eat just around the corner. There is a breakfast at the main building if you choose.

Hi - the only room we have stayed in is room 52 - also called "Greenwich" - there has never been an odor of any kind - and it is a comfortable accommodation. Just as the website shows, a small living room area with a loveseat, flat screen TV and fireplace. The bedroom has a California king bed - it is very small but cozy and clean - and the bathroom is fine. There is a fridge in the closet - a bit inconvenient but not so much as to cause a problem....We have found the accommodations quite clean...there is a dog fee, I believe, but we travel with a therapy dog...good luck - and enjoy Carmel!
