We stopped off in Carmel for 1 night on our way to San Francisco . A charming tree lined town full of art galleries, quaint little shops and restaurants. The hotel we stayed in was the historic Pine Inn. It is an old style Inn hotel situated in the centre of town in a little courtyard setting admist lovely antique...

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon that was spent on Hwy 1 of the Coast of California. Located in the heart of Ocean Avenue 3-4 blocks from the ocean, the location was perfect! The Pine Inn stands out from other hotels with it's charming white tall building that is anchored with quality boutiques on the first floor. The Inn...

My wife and I were traveling on our 25th weeding anniversary. We had stayed in four different 4 and 5 Diamond resorts across the Canadian Rockies and San Francisco before we arrived here. We were treated like royalty at those places but I have to say Ali at this hotel was Over The Top with her kindness and hospitality. She...

We stayed at the Pinne-inn from the 12th to the 15th and had a very very bad experience. We made reservation with two months in advance, and we got THE WORSE room, and they didn't want to change it, was No. 2. Since about 24 years we have been coming to this Hotel but for sure we will never come...

We have been staying at the Pine Inn for the last 10+ years for a week each visit and have never had a bad experience. John & his staff have always made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is also worth the visit.

This is our sixth time back to Pine Inn. We love the charm and character of the quirky building. Downtown and walking distance to anything your heart desires. Even brought our staff here foe a weekend instead of Christmas party. We will continue to come back often.

We stayed at the Pine Inn and were pleasantly welcomed upon our arrival. Our room was small but we had everything we needed. The hotel restaurant was excellent and we ate most of our meals right there. They gave us vouchers to buy our evening meals. It was a lovely experience.

Carmel is a wonderful place to visit while traveling the California coast. Our stay at the Pine Inn was better than we expected, a gracious large old Inn situated perfectly in the center of town near the beach, shopping and great restaurants. We recommend it highly!

It is one of the oldest hotel in Carmel, so you can taste a nice old-style atmosphere. On the other hand the advise they have on the reception desk that claims the building has not been restructured and therefore it could be not 100% safe in case of earthquake… it’s not the most reassuring thing you expect to find when...

Stayed there only one night (Saturday to Sunday). Our room was on the 2nd floor, facing the main street - no issues. The bathroom was huge, with shower and bathtub jacuzzi. It was clean. The bedroom had a funky/dated flower decor feel but it was OK. It was a bit noisy as our room was close to the entrance to...
