We drove in to Carmel about 7pm without a place to stay, and chose this place based on the location - right on the main street, half way between the beach and the main shopping/dining area - and its charm. Rooms are in a collection of villas set among lovely shady trees and winding lanes. Our room was huge, with...

We recently enjoyed a two-night stay at this Carmel location. Nothing but positives! Attractively furnished, well maintained and very comfortable bed. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice, quiet room. On-site parking.

We arrived mid afternoon to enquire about a room for the night. The manager showed us the small room available with a queen bed which was perfectly lovely, but he decided to upgrade us to a King suite due to some building work across the road that may disturb us in the morning. The suite had a king bed, sitting...

The room was very quaint and lovely - words do not do this justice! The beds were extremely comfortable and the mattress was actually susceptible to sleeping on in front of the TV at the end of a long day of traveling. This room exceeded our expectations and we would love to book this place again if we are visiting...

We stayed only two nights here, but the service was first class. Breakfast was delivered to our door at prearranged time. Suites are well maintained and spotlessly clean. The lodge is located about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach area and adjacent to the downtown shops and restaurants. The location affords you access to beautiful state park and famous...

The room is nice and very romantic, with a gas system fire place that you can turn it on with a click. Its decor is very cozy. The problem is the mattress, terrible as it usually happen in the hotels that are not part of a chain and doesn't have strict standards. The other problem is that the included breakfast...

Very clean! The room far exceeded our expectations. While older, it has been very well maintained. The room and bathroom were immaculate. They even give turn down service! There was not any air conditioning.... or at least we couldn't find it.... but it didn't matter, It is nice and cool in the evening. A continental breakfast is offered to be...

We loved our room (#16) in this nice lodge just a few blocks from Carmel Beach. The room was spacious, with a separate seating area and gas fireplace. Very clean. Soft, comfortable bed. Nice gardens on the grounds. A great location because it's on the edge of downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, so it's fairly quiet, though you can hear the ocean if...

The location could not be better. The room was spacious and clean. The price was excellent. There is a complementary breakfast of yogurt, juice and a pastry. It was ideal for exploring both the village and and the sea shore. We will definitely go back.

The Los Lobos is a convenient lodge well located in Carmel, the room comes with parking included and breakfast. The breakfast is average but the rooms aren't, the rooms are large and well appointed, nice shower and toilet separate from the sink and large enough for most travelers needs. I mentioned in passing that my bed was a little springy,...
