We ate on the deck one early Wednesday evening. The place is popular and crowded, noisy in the bar area. Deck was pleasant on a beautiful evening. View was OK, sheep laying in a meadow with estuary beyond in the distance, not spectacular. The food was very good and a good drinks selection. First come first served, so come early...

My sister, husband and I booked the Bunkhouse for a short stay after seeing the beautiful pictures online. The building itself is clean and comfortable but dated. The Bunkhouse is a stand alone building with two bedrooms, sitting room and one bath. The outdoor porch looks over a fenced meadow which during the day is the home to about 40...

Staying at Mission Ranch is truly a treat. Close enough to the action in Carmel yet private and charming. The restaurant and bar are fairly small and caters to Carmel residents and tourists alike. Go for a cocktail and enjoy the sunset and beautiful working farm.

Found the rates very reasonable for the unique accommodations. The grounds are well kept and the location is wonderful. Loved the breakfast at the tennis club. Our expectations were for pastries and coffee, but we were pleasantly surprised that there were more choices than that. We will return and try the restaurant!

We have been going to The Mission Ranch since Clint reopened it during the 1980s. I think that we have stayed in every room except The Honeymoon Cottage. The rooms are always clean and comfortable...at any price level. The view from The Meadow View rooms is great. The grounds are beautiful! Watching the sheep is very relaxing. Carmel is a...

We stayed in room 40 last night and enjoyed the view of the ranch (with sheep) along with the backdrop of the ocean. Brunch was delicious, and the staff very pleasant. We will stay here again. We booked the same day and managed to get a room (probably due to the rain scaring off visitors).

We had a great time at the Mission Ranch Inn at the end of January. Spent two nights there prior to driving up to SF. Even though we got the impression that the place leans a bit older, they were very accommodating. In particular we really enjoyed renting the Bunkhouse- it was perfect for a toddler. Perfectly nice but in...

My husband and I always stay at the Mission Ranch in Carmel when we are in the area for a weekend of relaxation. The cottages and rooms are luxurious, very charming, warm and enveloping. The grounds and environment are beautiful with the Pacific Ocean, the open green meadow, beds of flowers, tall trees and the rolling fog. The sunsets are glorious over the...

We walked a few blocks from the ranch and had breakfast at the Cottage Restaurant. You can walk a little farther and check out the small shops headed down to the beach. The beach is a small park which is also nice. My wife and I made a loop and returned back to Mission Ranch. The office will have a map to show the eateries. I used Google Maps to walk the loop. Very nice, quiet

If you go to there website mission valley ranch and click on accommodation you will see the rates however it just says from....However in the room there was a price list which I still have. Queen bed with tub or shower in the Main Barn is $140 which is what I paid in June, they go up depending on the luxury, the one we stayed in was a little old fashioned for my taste but not old and shabby just made to look like that if you get what I mean. Unfortunately you can't book online you have to call them but let me assure you they were very fast and helpful and got email confirmation within about 10 minutes and it is will worth it when you get there. Also if you fancy a meal in the restaurant you don't need to book in advance as they always have room for guests you just need to tell them when you arrive what time you would like to eat and your table will be waiting. We had 2 main course and 2 deserts and a half bottle of wine and a soft drink and it was $121 one of the main courses that we had though was the most expensive at $50 but they ranged from about $25-$50 well worth it for a nice treat in a lovely setting.

The Restaurant opens at 4 for cocktails and 5 for dinner, and also has piano music nightly. Unfortunately we do not take reservations at the Restaurant with exception to certain holidays (Mother’s Day Brunch, Easter Brunch and Thanksgiving).

Sorry I missed your question. I'm not really sure, but I would guess at least 20. But, to be certain, just give them a call. They do get booked. You won't be disappointed in staying here. It's just beautiful without the arrogance....if that makes any sense.

Not certain, but pretty sure they do not allow pets. The front desk picks up the phone promptly, so I would suggest just calling to confirm.
