In a word, ugh. I made the mistake of taking the word of someone at a tourist info desk at the airport. Normally I get boots on the ground and walk around a bit unless I have some reliable first hand information. However, after a long day I took a chance based on the friendliness of the young woman at...

I’ve been to Krabi many times over the years and decided to stay in a different hotel. City Hotel is great for many reasons especially the location – across the road there is a local food market that will ensure you won’t go hungry! The rooms are large and clean, beds are hard (which I don’t mind but my sister...

We were looking for somewhere for just a two day stop off in krabi, and although the price and location suited us the reviews on trip advisor really did worry us, but we thought it was only for a few nights and we would request to view the room prior to paying. On our arrival the reception informed us that...

Room rates are reasonable and quite spacious. The hotel is also available and can be accessed free WiFi in the lobby well as in the room. The hotel is also strategically located as halal food restaurant and at night there is a night market. (Good about this hotel) Room rates does not include breakfast. If you want breakfast, you can...

This hotel may look nice on the pictures, but in reality its much worse. All of the 3 rooms my friends and I ordered were crawling with small ants. They were mostly found on the wall by the beds. That the toilet was pretty much under the showerhead, and the rooms were very old and worn out didn't help either....

First: Very good situation, very centrical, just beside the night market. We arrived late and were not willing to look much around and so we just walked in and asked for a room. The establishment looks like an classical salesmen hotel, but quite worn out. We had a big room with window, but very cold electric lamps. No safe in...

2 words... Stay away from this place, we decided to stay here for a few days to explore Krabi in detail. We saw the pictures of the rooms and thought we'd go for it since it seemed like a nice place. Everything changed as soon as we walked in. No one spoke any good English in the reception and they...

Booked a beautiful spacious room as shown in the brochure with AC, fridge, Wifi, new furniture, clean sheets, full bathroom... 30 minutes later when I arrived at the hotel, they did the switch. I was told those rooms are all booked, and I had to stay in the old section for the same price, no credit. Well I got into...
