Location is great, central to everything. Room is clean, comfortable. Basic, but we don't require bells and whistles for this trip - we are active by day and need a dry, warm, comfortable room for night. The cons are minimal but there are a few; the entrance room to the main room could do with a bench to sit to...

Everyone we encountered on staff was polite, helpful, and excited to have us enjoy the snow. The woman who picked us up from the Welcome Center gave us an excellent recommendation for rentals, which was right next to the hotel (and was well priced and great staff). The hotel/Lodge (we stayed in the lodge part of the hotel) was well...

I stayed 5D here in mid Dec 2015, and that was my first time to Niseko. Being first timer, I asked for direction (to GoSnow, supermarket, places to eat, how to get about, nearest onsen etc), I would say I got lukewarm responses from both the Japanese & international staff, which was quite below the norm Japanese standard I had...

As others have said, M Lodge is good value for money, given its location. It's in the middle of Hirafu, within an easy stroll to restaurants, ski rental places and the supermarket. You're not on the main road, but just tucked away on a side street. It's small but adequate for a week's worth of skiing. The staff are great...

I had read many reviews about hotels and lodges in Niseko before booking with M Lodge. The room was average size and had enough room for our luggage and snowboards. I had expected that the bed size was going to be quite small and was pleasantly surprised at how big it was! The staff were all amazing, before we even...

We tried to find reasonably priced family friendly accommodation and decided on M Hotel. The standard room was an average size and has enough space down the side of our bed for our daughter to sleep on her air bed. M hotel and lodge are smack bang in the middle of Hirafu which makes the location very convenient. To get...

Check in at the M-Hotel next door. M-Lodge has no reception but it is not far to walk if you need something from the M-Hotel. Room was small, but this is to be expected in Japan. Bed was OK comfort wise, asked for extra pillows and got them no problem. Australia workers at Hotel Reception which made check-in easy for...

If you are after 'budget' accommodation but with all the bells and whistles of the location and amenities this place is the place to book. For the price we paid for peak time - Christmas - it's all we needed! Yes the rooms are basic, but they are clean and have everything you need. So close to the hirafu intersection...

Staying at M Lodge currently (January 2014). Very close to bars, restaurants and lifts. Secure area to put skis and heated lockers available in basement. We are staying in a Standard Room which is quite small (no sitting area) however has everything we need. Rooms are cleaned every 2-3 days and are modern. We did not receive much of a...

Just a few steps down from the main road with bus stop at the intersection to catch the Night Go Bus to Kutchan ($5 pp return – 500 yen). Night Go bus starts 5.40pm Niseko-Kutchan with last bus Kutchan-Niseko Welcome Centre 9.30pm. Timetable and tickets purchase on bus (or guy at bus stop). Next to bus stop is Seicomart (supermarket)....
