Hotel is under construction. Public areas are covered in construction dust. Not up to DoubleTree Standards. Definitely not worth $300+ per night. Nice size workout room with outdated equipment, no TV's, no clock on wall to let you know what time it is.

The staff was exceptional - so kind and helpful! Really made us feel welcome and important. The hotel will be very beautiful once the renovations are complete. The staff that we interacted with went out of their way in any way we might need. Parking leaves a little to be desired.

It would've been nice to be there after the lobby had there construction complete. The upgrade that is given is not really an upgrade. Having a larger tub doesn't constitute an upgrade, but I realize that they were attempting to accommodate me on my business trip and give an upgrade where they could. The hotel was due for an upgrade...

While the staff was wonderful and the location good, the hotel needs to continue to upgrade not only the lobby but the rooms as well. The room was clean, and I slept well until the load full of plates & glasses went by Also the gift basket was much appreciated and a good effort does count for a lot! Keep...

I've stayed here three times now in the past few weeks and I have to say that I'm not impressed. The hotel is under construction and so there are very few amenities which is not normal for a Doubletree. There's no bar, no restaurant, only one vending machine which is on the third floor. The rooms are OK but are...

Stay away until they remodel go to motel 6 for the same. Carpet wore out years ago. Lots of trash in parking lot. A/C / heat controlled itself needed to be readjusted constantly. Room furniture wouldn't sell in goodwill. Sadly Double Tree has always been a favorite looks like Hilton bought them in a fire sale.

I was giving a presentation at a company there who had booked and prepaid my hotel bill, something I've done many times across the country. Considering that the hotel was being remodeled so there was no lobby, no dining room, and lots of noise, I thought the almost $400 a night charge was outrageous. But I didn't worry about it...

great service and wonderful rooms- which have a fireplace! It was so warming and romantic. Of course the cookie is always an added bonus when you arrive! Currently going through renovation but we did not hear any noise while there.

This has been our choice of hotel when staying at South Bay. It's location is very convenient and centrally located to all the things you need as a traveler. Without hesitation, we booked the hotel for our recent stay (Xmas to New Year) and our fault for not looking into the renovation that was/is going on. When we checked in...

This is a clean, comfortable stay. It's outdated interior is getting a major overhaul, and while that may not be most convenient, the staff are incredibly friendly, and accommodating of all your needs. I stayed on the third floor, and had I not seen it with my own eyes, I would not have known the major construction was going on....
