Horseback riding ; zip lining 7 times in the woods with amazing rainforest view; hot spring with steam room and mud bath; they do provide towel and locker. Friendly tour guy and on time transportation from our hotel to the park. This is a combo package.
This was a really fun experience. They had everything you could want all in one place! We got to zip line, ride horses, tube down a water slide , enjoy hot springs, hanging bridges and a tractor ride. So much fun in one place. Highly recommend!!
The first trip we did outside our resort. This was amazing! The host was so informative, he spoke in both English and Spanish for the group. They had multiple activities for you to do from zip lining, horse back riding, lunch was amazing and the coffee even better! They showed us how they make their clay bowls and vases. And they took us down this amazing slide through the forest (the water is freezing though.) The folks that ran this adventure room pictures throughout which you can buy and they will email them to you. I thought I had lost all my pictures from the day but Farlen Ugalde García is amazing and was able to get me all the pictures from that day after almost 6 months. I can’t thank them enough for doing that for me!! 100% I would come back to Costa Rica to do this tour again! …
This was our Tuesday excursion from the Pacific side of Costa Rica. Amstar called it a Mega Combo. First up, the hike up to the first zipline platform, there were six in all with some over 180 feet up in the air. Nice easy ziplines that you can brake yourselves. Our guide were excellent and we loved it. Next up watching a guy make pottery and a chance to buy some. Then horseback riding. I hike to a waterfall and then ended our afternoon with some mud and then hot springs. Staff was great, what a beautiful location, and the weather was perfect. Family of 5 aged 11 and up. We also had an excellent lunch and traditional rice pudding.
Everyone is extremely friendly there. All of the activities from the ziplining, horseback riding, water slide, and hot springs were amazing. Farlen went above and beyond and was so helpful with us in the souvenir shop with the photography. He is such a positive person. I would definitey go back.
After a long flight and a 2 hour delay in immigration was good to be on the road to our first resort on our week long tour of Costa Rica, however this was quite a long coach journey mainly along a very poor road, more dust than views. Disappointing accommodation, room very basic and no decor whatsoever, also no sound proofing, could hear everything in the other rooms, however room was large and beds were comfortable, bathroom was adequate. Too tired from our journey to seek out snack or bar area, however others said it was expensive. Our guide found the most poisonous spider in Costa Rica just outside our rooms that night. Nice walk to breakfast room in the morning, which was well presented and plentiful. Only stayed one night so not able to take part in other activities this resort obviously offers. Gorgeous area and very nice staff.…
Family and friends went on the zip line course. First time and it was amazing! Also had fun horseback riding and the hot springs! The whole group enjoyed all of it and seeing the wildlife around the property.
We found this resort because we wanted to zipline and only had one day before heading to Liberia airport after a wedding weekend at an all inclusive beach resort. This was exactly what we were looking for. Natural beauty high up in the canopy. We stayed in cute rustic cabins that had all of the essentials including good Wi-Fi. We were initially worried because there is no AC but it got so wonderfully cool at night with the windows open it definitely isn’t needed. The food was amazing! Authentic and delicious with large portions. The El Mirador restaurant has the most stunning sunset view I’ve ever seen. That is a must-do. We purchased the Eco Day Pass which actually came with a private guide who led us through the activities and explained so many Costa Rican traditions. The ziplining was FANTASTIC! So many lines and awesome views! Definitely the highlight. Our driver told us they were as good as those in Arenal. We reluctantly did the horseback riding. I thought it was fun but my daughter in law did not! The mud baths and hot springs were fun and relaxing. We skipped the hanging bridges because we were just too tired. There is also a water slide that looked really fun but too scary for us. The property is lovely to walk around and there are trails that we had no time to explore. Another two days would have been perfect. The ride to get there is long and slow because of the inclines and bumps so hire a driver. We spoke to a man who drove himself and he had a very difficult time. We had Amstar transport; they were so prompt and friendly. And the van was new, air conditioned and comfortable. They took us to the airport the next morning which was only an hour away. I almost didn’t find this resort but I’m so glad I did. It met all of my criteria and was the perfect ending to our Costa Rica trip!!…
We weren't fully prepared for what a full day this experience would be. Ziplining, Hanging Bridges, Cultural Center, Waterfalls, Horseback riding, a five course lunch ($20 extra) and more. The staff were enthusiastic and genuine. The area was breathtaking. We'd go again. Two important observations. First, when we called to confirm when we should arrive, we were told, "9AM". However, upon arriving, our guide asked why we came late as they open at 7:30AM. We learned the staff often will push guests for later arrival making for a less full day for themselves. So, come at 7:30 as our 9AM arrival meant we were rushed towards the end. Secondly, the road to the facility near the top of the mountain has perhaps 10km of rough, dirt/gravel road sometimes rather steep. But our rental passenger car made it fine. It was just a little intimidating, and jarring, as we traversed this last section. But, we can say it was all so worth it. Parenthetically, our guide for the day asked if he might hitch a ride with us down to the city to meet a friend. So we enjoyed his company and driving guidance that early evening, too.…
We had a family of 14 from ages 4 years old up to 85 years old. The ENTIRE group loved our experience. We did the eco adventure day pass, and the two seniors did the nature & cultural tour. Linberth was our guide for the day & I highly recommend you request him! He was absolutely phenomenal! He ensured all of our group could participate or watch the events, helping with our group members with limited mobility & more. This day earned top spot in multiple family members favorite day of the trip. From the mud bath to the jungle slide, it was truly a memorable day for all
