We’ve purchased a deal for two for a horseback riding and canopy tour. The tour itself is arranged for a small group, but for us it was only two of us (what we enjoyed a lot). It included: transfer, horseback riding, about 11 ziplines, spring pools and a lunch. All of that was an

There is only one good thing about this place and that is the excursions. We booked for several nights, but cut our losses and left the next day. The room pictures you see must be 20 years old. The room was filthy. Sheets, towels all stained. No soap in the bathroom and no hot

We enjoyed our time here. Very relaxed and beautiful in an isolated location. We didn’t find the road all that taxing. We did a relaxing though windy horseback ride to see waterfalls that was just my daughters and I with a guide. Very well-priced. Low-key place to do canopy tour

Visited as a family of 5 (baby, parents, grand parents). The grounds are stunning and tranquil and I can imagine an energetic couple having a great trip here on their own. As a multi generational family, this was not a perfect choice for us. We had a junior suite and a

I don’t think the volcano park entrance is within walking distance. You can probably get the hotel to shuttle you there. Sorry, I was interested in the stuffed shrimp dish and overlooked the vegetarian offerings.

They do have some rooms closer to the lodge a short walk away, but there is some moderate elevation to be walked even with these. It is a wonderful resort, with an exceptional staff, so if you can manage the walk, you will have a great relaxing time.

"Avoid all rooms"
"This place is located on a mountain. Getting to many bungalows can be a long, steep walk."
"The higher the room numbers (400s-500s), the higher you are on the hill and steeper it is. However, the views are awesome from the top."
"All villas are wonderful, can't go wrong with any choice."
"Go for the bungalow not the junior suites, the junior suites are just too high up and there is never transport around."
