Where do I start? Clientele (possibly a shelter situation). A fight that broke out between the couple next door at 10:00 PM (they had to move them out). The corridor breakfast area that was hard to menuever in and had flies really bad. We just...More
Just off the US 50 interchange at the Cameron Park exit, it is visible from the road. This motel two-story property with lots of parking in front, with easy access right on the main street. Very nice staff at desk greet us and it was...More
This is an older motel style. The room was comfy but shows some wear and tear. They did a good job with my special request although didn't acknowledge it. Has a larger fridge than most, microwave, large flat screen tv. Breakfast started at 6 am...More
I have stayed at this hotel twice this year as there is limited choice in hotels in Cameron Park. It's older, but dirty, needs painting and updating overall. Rooms were clean but old. Low water pressure in my room and temp fluctuated frequently. Breakfast is...More
Nice room. It's an older facility, but nicely maintained. We paid $8 less for an absolute disaster of a room the previous night. Nice large room with a fridge, microwave, in-room coffee, and hair dryer. Very pleased.

The distance from hotel to center of Placerville is 11 miles according to mapquest. However Placerville is a larger town. My last trip, I felt I was five miles away as it took me 10 minutes or less with traffic lights in between to get to the hotel from the old courthouse in Placerville near Diamon Springs. Taking Hwy 50 which is the main drag, it was not a long trip.
Side note: there is a grocery, shopping and a Dollar Tree practically across the street from this hotel so its not a bad location for convenience sake.

This is a two story motel with all rooms entered from the outside. I can't answer about the handicapped rooms for sure, but I have to think they would have them on the first floor. Best bet is to call the hotel and ask.
