We happened on the Rigdon House and felt so fortunate! It was raining along the California coast and we didn't feel like camping in our van. We spent two nights in this cozy inn and enjoyed every minute. Local wines were featured one evening. Morning fare was coffee and home baked goodies. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are excellent...

Thank you for this wonderful review! We are really glad you decided to stay the two nights with us! We try exceptionally hard to make our inn enjoyable for every guest with things like our wine social and complimentary breakfast. We are glad you enjoyed every minute of this little town, and we hope to have you back in the...

Such a beautiful property. King room was very spacious, quality decor, extremely comfortable, & such a welcome change from 'chain' hotels. The preservation of this house has been done to the highest of standards. Great nights sleep, very quiet location, good restaurant & bar a short walk away. Plenty of parking, wifi smooth & fast. Staff so friendly & accommodating,...

We booked a one night stay at this hotel during our drive up the coast. When we arrived to check in, there was a sign at the front desk that read "be back in 10 mins." We had plans to go to dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday and wanted to freshen up after a long drive. Well, we ended...

Greetings, We are disappointed to hear that you and your husband had such a disappointing experience upon check-in, especially since it was your husband's birthday. Since we are a small property, we made arrangements to close the office early so that our staff could enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with their family. In order to ensure that our guests were aware of...

After a rainy day visit to Hearst Castle (don't do it) we wanted a warm, cozy place to spend the night. Upon checking Hotels.com we decided on The Rigdon. Unfortunately, the website did not send a confirmation, and I was afraid we missed our opportunity. When I walked into the lobby, it was Katelyn to the rescue. She could not...

Fantastic place to stay, this is our third trip in as many years. Can't recommend highly enough. Amazingly comfy king bed and beautifully decorated rooms. Would not stay anywhere else. Thank you. Manuel Barragan

I spent a few days at the Ridgon Inn last week with a small tour group. The rooms were large, the accommodation was charming and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The beds were so comfortable I called them 'kidnappers.' As soon as you laid down on them you didn't stand a chance and would be whisked off to...

We cannot thank you enough for sharing your experience with our on-line community. Honestly, your tour group was delightful. We are extremely pleased to hear that our beds were everything you could want, especially considering you were biking down highway 1. We hope to have you all back in the future for a reunion trip! Safe travels!

Our first stay here at the Rigdon formally the Burton Inn. We typically stay on Moonstone Beach where you can walk the boardwalk all day long. We thought we missed staying but we soon realized staying at the Rigdon had its advantages. We did not have to get in a car to walk downtown Cambria where most of the scarecrows...

Wow! What a great place to stay in a quaint little California town. Our room was super and one of the cleanest hotels we've ever been in. We arrived just in time for cocktails and snacks, the hostess was warm and friendly. Our room was upgraded to a suite with a sitting room, bedroom, and bath. 2 fireplaces,2 big televisions...
