My mother and I recently spent 2 weeks driving the California coast from San Francisco to Los Angeles and back. When preparing for this trip I spent many hours on this site reviewing accommodations knowing that tripadvisor never steers me wrong. I can honestly say that the reviewers have once again come through for me - every single hotel/motel/inn I...

My family goes to Cambria twice a year. We have stayed at most of the hotels/motels there, and The Fog Catcher Inn is by far the best place to stay in Cambria. The rooms are clean and cozy. The staff is courteous and helpful. The pool and hot tub are heated and delightful at night. The free breakfast is delicious....

The fogcatcher inn has probably the best management and staff hands down. The views from here are simply breathtaking and the breakfast they serve is among the best and on par or even better than some very fine hotels. The real icing on the cake was the phone call I received from a staff member that i left my ipad...

I read all the reviews and choose to go here based on them and I could not have been more pleased. The rooms are very clean and cute! I was afraid the rooms were going to be very small and they were not. I had plenty room in there and enjoyed the yummy breakfast and breakfast room. The staff were...

We could not have guessed that this deceptively modest Inn boasted cathedral ceiling rooms with a fireplace, great bathroom, wonderful beds and sitting area. The flat screen TV in the room was swell although the stars viewed across the street on the beach was better than anything found on a channel. The staff was so very nice and even helped...

A perfect setting - we only wished you could have stayed longer. We were driving from Anaheim to San Francisco and chose Fog Catchers inn at Cambria as our overnight stop. What a beautiful little town and Fog Catchers Inn did not disappoint. The rooms were very cosy and the fire was great. We arrived in time to sit on...

This place was great! Right across from the ocean (with easy access to the beach), pet friendly (Skippy loved it!), comfy beds, heated pool and hot tub, super yummy breakfast, beautiful, homey rooms, great staff. Ocean accessibility: there's an esplanade between the road and the water that's absolutely lovely for a long walk, exercising Fido, having the opportunity to watch...

FogCatcher is a sparkling little gem on the westcoast. Go there. Fall in love. Walk for miles on the pristine and entirely accessible boardwalk above the Pacific. We recommend a December trip with a long evening at the Cambria Christmas Market. And don't forget to see Santa!

Chelsea at front desk was as we'll trained as any staff who have checked me into a Ritz Carlton, which is the standard I judge all service transactions. Later, the night front desk staff went above and beyond as well to get me things I needed. I would recommend this hotel highly for that road trip along the PCH or...

We stayed at the FogCatcher Inn on Moonstone Beach in Cambria for a few days last week. We had stayed here before, and have basically fallen in love with the place. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and professional. The free breakfasts were delicious. And one of the best things about it...
