We arrived late afternoon and we weren't sure where to stay but we are so glad we picked the Fogcatcher. Newly renovated rooms, beautiful view and gorgeous fireplace in our room. Breakfast was a great start to the day as well. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at FogCatcher on our way to visit Hearst Castle. The staff was very welcoming (greet you with cookies) and the room very nice. Each room has a nice fireplace to heat it and has more than ample space. It is right across the street from Moonstone Beach so you can walk the beach easily from the inn. They...

After a lot of research, my partner and I booked the Fogcatcher for our first trip to Cambria. We were so pleased with the quaint atmosphere, the lovely room, the attentive staff; we returned the property twice more for charming stays. As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast is lovely - healthy options and a weensy bit indulgent! With all...

We had a great time in Cambria! The Fog Catcher is a very nice property. We had a room with an ocean view and a fireplace which warmed the room and provided a nice ambiance. Of course it helped quite a bit that the weather was perfect for our 2 night stay. We visited the Hearst castle, and shopped around...

We really like the FogCatcher. The rooms are big and clean, they use philosophy bath products, and they give you cookies when you arrive. What's not to like? Their breakfast is generous (make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, tea, coffee, juice) and their grounds have nice gardens and a pool. Like most places along Moonstone, it's steps away...

We stayed for one night on a trip from San Francisco to LA. At checkin we were greeted with smiles and a drink and biscuit. Our room was immaculate and the fireplace was such a great idea. Nothing is nicer than sitting in front of the fireplace and warming up. Our bed was perfect for us - comfortable and clean...

Had a good stay on a wonderful day. Beautiful Boardwalk along the beach. Good sized rooms, accommodating staff and good breakfast. They have several seats where you can relax, read and watch the ocean.

We had room #322 with the only balcony upstairs. Gorgeous view from there. Ocean noise all night. Good breakfast included. Clean, good service, awesome setting on Moonstone Drive. Only complaint was the uncomfortable chairs.

This is my favorite getaway hotel. I love Moonstone Beach. The FogCatcher is always a relaxing place to get away and the best value for the money. The rooms are being redecorated. We had one of the newly decorated rooms. It was very nice. The only thing I think they should do is change the duvet covers to blue to...

This was our third time at the Fogcatcher and it is even nicer than before due to a renovation of the rooms.
