George & Rosemary still own the Oakwood B&B but no longer keep it as it was. Grass is brown and no more flowers. We're currently staying here but never given a key to our room. They have an assistant who cares for them and attempts to run the B&B. For what their charging you better off staying at the Washington... More

Lovely weekend! George and Rosemary are delightful hosts. Rosemary treated us to fresh figs from the garden. It is great to see that there is still reasonably priced accommodation out there. I typically stay at the Calistoga Spa and Hot Springs but they have increased their prices dramatically. This is great value and hosts are lovely.

George and Rosemary!!! Make me feel as if I was part of their family. Was very hard for me to leave. I was there for the weekend of the Napa Valley Marathon. Their are volunteers of the event and therefore, She cooks a great meal for the carb- load dinner the night before the race. I could not say enough... More

My sister and I stayed here for an annual get-away and had a wonderful stay. George & Rosemary really know how to take care of their guests. Our breakfast was wonderful every day and the setting on the porch could not have been more relaxing. We were treated with a variety of fresh strawberries and other fruits as well as... More

We received a warm welcome, including a bottle of wine in the fridge. Oakwood is fairly convenient for Calistoga town centre, and for driving to the wine estates nearby. However, our room was very dark, and decor and bedding rather dated. The air conditioning was noisy and not very effective, and the kitchen drawers and cupboards were grubby inside. It was... More

Upon our arrival we were greeted by George & Rosemary & made to feel very welcome. She is English and he is Scottish and they are both very friendly, sharing their stories and experiences of travel all over the world. There are 2 cottages to choose from; Balmoral or Windsor; we stayed in Balmoral. They are charmingly European in decor... More

This B &B experience was great ! My sister and I completely enjoyed our weekend and have nothing but good things to say about the Oakwood B &B. Our cottage was simple and clean and close enough to main street that we walked to and from town. What stands out most is the pride that Geoge and Rosemary take in... More

My husband and I stayed at the Oakwood B&B in September 2006. There are 2 cottages that you can chose from and we stayed in the Windsor. The owners do not have a website, so you have to contact them directly. I discovered this lovely little place through the Better Business Bureau's website in Calistoga. The owners are very nice... Every May we return to Calistoga to revisit the occasion of our honeymoon. For the last 6 years we have stayed with Rosemary and George at the Oakwood B&B. It is easy walking distance to downtown but far enough to be out of earshot of the busy business district. Oakwood has just 2 cabins, both of which are comfortable and... More

This B&B is one of the few that allowed us to stay for 1 night only during the weekend. They are only 3 blocks away (SHORT walk) from Calistoga downtown and the price is low compared to others (we only paid $140 incl. TAX). Good value since it comes with continental breakfast. We were given our own small private cottage... More
