This stay was a gift from our daughters and included a certificate for the Lavender Hill Spa next door. Nick, our host, was so, well, hospitable! The food was excellent, the company of the other guests congenial, and Nick's guidance to the best places for local food and entertainment were spot on. We enjoyed the "TV Free" environment, too.

Really enjoyed our two nights here. The accomodations are wonderful and the breakfasts were out of this world! Within walking distance of everything in downtown Calistoga. This was a great find, and we look forward to returning!

Good locale, excellent food, extremely pleasant proprietor and surroundings. I strongly recommend not missing breakfast. We found our stay to be exactly what we hoped for. Would happily return in the future.

We had a great stay here. The location was perfect for us, because it's walkable to everything around town. (And let's face it, you'll likely be drinking a bunch of wine with dinner.) For dinner, I recommend Jole and Solbar (both walkable). Nick , who owned the place, was incredibly hospitable and welcomed us with (what else?) a glass of...

From the moment we checked in Nick & Gillian were the perfect hosts. A glass of wine was ready for us the moment we arrived. The rooms were extremely clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Shower immaculate, water pressure fabulous. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in away from home. Amazing breakfasts every morning. They are both excellent cooks....

We've been going to Napa the last ten years. Discovered WWI a few trips back. Can't say enough about how sociable the host was during our visit and is a great conversationalist. The brunch is the best way to start the morning before the wine tasting. The location is convenient to both Silverado and 29.
