We booked this place for a visit to Universal Studios Hollywood in Aug 2017. While the staff was exceptionally friendly, the place left much to be desired. It was, however, a reasonable alternative to the outrageous prices of hotels in and near the theme park....More
Excellent place to stay in Burbank! Immaculately clean. Room is full of amenities. Has fridge, microwave, wifi, clean pool, on-site restaurant, and more. Beds are very comfortable and room has plenty of storage. Friendly staff. The surrounding area doesn't look that attractive and at first...More
We go to North San Fernando Valley occasionally. Ever try to find a decent hotel/motel within driving distance and affordability? We think the Ramada Burbank Airport is a relatively good option. It’s right off I-5 so freeway access is excellent. Our room on the 4th...More

I am sure that most if not all hotels would shy away from or completely ignore your question. Honestly, ALL hotels are subject to Bed Bugs. Bed Bugs travel with guest from hotel to hotel, there is NO preventive measures that can be taken to deter or prevent them, Once a guest informs us of a possible unwanted room mate, we do have procedures in place to deal with them. We have a licensed & bonded professional pest management company that services the property weekly as well as being on call in the event of... (there is a special crew just for bed bug treatment) Our housekeeping staff is trained in identifying possible infestations and are always on the lookout while performing their daily duties. OK, so now to answer your question "YES" there has been about two incidents in the last few months, which were quickly treated upon notification. We never will knowingly rent any rooms that are not 100% verified CLEAN by an independent licensed contractor. Any hotel that tells you that they have NEVER dealt with Bed Bugs is not being honest. You have also heard that Bed Bugs have infested Department Stores (dressing rooms) from people changing clothes, Furniture Stores (couches) from people sitting on them, Rarely you might even hear about an airline (from a passenger) even Cruise Lines. No one is immune !! It is not "IF" but "When" they appear, and how professional you are at treating them... Should you have more questions, please feel free to contact me directly at the hotel.

PS, Beg Bugs also do NOT transmit diseases. Some people are just highly sensitive while others don't even notice them.
