I have never felt inclined to rate a business for their performance or lack thereof, as in this case... 3 of us stayed in L8 with our well mannered retriever, arrived at 1:30 am to keys under the mat. The place smelled funky, but we were exhausted and went to bed. Up early to meet family for breakfast, so hopped...

We had a reservation for Big Sur, but because of the fires considered going to Nacimiento. The left the campground immediately after seeing it. Very crowded loops, dry and dusty, too steep to put up a tent. You really have to go there for the water sports (which we weren't).

We are a family of 8 who rented a boat and a wake board on 7/7/16 (a Thursday). Nic and Ty waited on us and were both very nice. They went out of their way to blow up a raft for us and also gave us extra time on the boat. The lake had plenty of water for wake boarding...

Just back from staying at cabin L1. I was one of four that made up two couples. I did not book this or look at anything about this property prior to our stay. We were in town to do some serious wine tasting. We paid in advance. We showed up at night after spending the day in the vineyards. The...

We stayed in lodge #6 at Lakeview Lodges. Upon our arrival the room was above 90 degrees. The A/C was not working. It was 8pm so we could ope the windows and cool the place down. For $340 a night this place is not worth it. The screen was broken and off the tracks. The microwave was from the 1970's...

We stayed in one of the large lodges at the lake on one of the hottest weekends. There was only one bathroom for eight people and no air conditioning! The electricity went out due to over use, yet the reception building had it. We lost all of our food we had in the fridge and were a bit miserable. The...

The large lodges are spacious but really dated! There in only 1 bathroom which is odd for a place that can sleep 10. The deck wood has splinters and nails, so no bare feet! There is no shade provided on the sunny hot decks so bring your own cover! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Even...

We just returned from our weekend trip to Lake Nacimiento. We stayed at the Lakeview Lodges. When we arrived, Lodge #8 looked great on the outside, but when we walked in it smelled of urine. We aired out the lodge and sprayed deodorizer and it seemed much better. Later found out this was from bats in the walls. Lots of...

Dear VMarin01, thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent visit to Lake Nacimiento Resort. We are glad, despite your lodging experience, that you were able to still enjoy boating and the lake amenities. We appreciate you bringing the bats and spiders to our attention. We notified our pest control contractor immediately to remedy the...

We spent a weekend at a house in the gated Oak Shores Community. The playground & pool were clean, which earned the 1 star. The community's private "code enforcer" patrols the roads and look for opportunities to hand out $100 citations as a way to fund-raise money for the community. I was handed a stop sign citation after I stopped...

We booked a place at Lake Nacimiento Resort and were encouraged to book a mobile home on top of a hill....."lots of privacy, very clean and large enough for our family" was how it was sold to us. After checking in we were excited to see our place for labor day weekend. One look and I was out the door,...
